Bosox question. Some place require $100 min. Others $25. No in between. I'm wondering how you would handle that.

A blackjack player who I consider very knowledgable asked me what I thought of that situation, and I felt it was a good subject to pass along here. Strange you would think that a place would put in some $50 minimum games but I have seen what he is talking about. Only decent games were either $25 or $100 games on weekday mornings and early afternoon games at an MGM Grand property. At this place the only difference was at the higher tables they were hand shuffled versus ASM at the lower $25 games. Periodically I will play at a $100 table but I prefer to blend in at a lower table in that rare situation. Always remember to see if anyone is actually playing in the bigger room at the hundreds and two hundred dollar tables, because if they are empty You are suddenly playing the biggest game in the house, which I did once too many times, and paid the price.
