The shutdowns cost me money. I only play in what I think are positive EV situations. I live in Canada, but all of my earned freeplay was in the USA (I live 5 miles from the border), and with the border closures that was all lost. After the border reopened, my freeplay did not return, and a longtime favorite local store never reopened their table games, so more opportunities were lost. I also had a trip planned with the family that was going to be two weeks in Las Vegas and LA. Although I was able to cancel everything (most at no charge ), the airline change fees cost me, as the flights when I rebooked them with the credits I received were about $250 more than the original tickets.
