I've never found this one (ace line) in the wild Mickey. The 100.28% game (no ace line) is around though. IMHO the strategy for the 100.28 game was worth learning (I'm pretty sure the ace line version is even more complicated), so if you change your mind, let me know (if you have a running copy of Wolf Video Poker [not to be confused with Frugal VP] you can generate it also for the non-Ace-line game). I'm not sure a human being can play the strategy perfectly - I certainly can't anyway (but close enough to achieve my free play and comp objectives), maybe others here can.
I seen the 100.28% game in Minnesota this past spring. I think that's where arci plays the game. WVP deactivated off my computer. I tried to contact Jim Wolf, I have before, but no response. Then I heard he went out of business. So I'm back down to Frugal. It's executable so I have it backed up. Is your WVP executable?
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

It's executable (yes I do have it backed up, thanks), but the way the security is setup, anytime you transfer it to a new computer, you need to go to Jim's activation center to activate it on the new computer (and deactivate it on the old) or it won't run. Since Jim is out of business, my copy will no longer run (my hard drive crashed on my old computer) on my new computer since I can't go to the activation center to activate it because the activation center and website no longer exist.

This will shock many of our current forum members. While you're all arguing abut the WOV forum and attacking each other, and insulting each other with words and titles I won't repeat... there are people who really go to casinos and really gamble.

I'm attaching a photo of a dream video poker hand. It's not mine. I wish it was mine but it was sent to me by a former member who was chased away by the obscene talk here.

Take a look at what this lady hit on a Super Times Pay machine and then you can go back to your bickering. Eat your hearts out. It was a 25-cents royal with a 10X multiplier. I already ate my heart out.

And like you, probably STILL in the hole lifetime.

And unlike you she has a family and a house and a life outside of casinos.

But honestly... you can't say congratulations? Must your pursuit of the 0.1% edge control your entire life?

Just who in the frosty hell do you think should be congratulated?

You, for posting it? (that would be a bold demand, even for a confirmed attention whore such as yourself)

Your friend, for sending the pic to you?

The lady who actually pushed the button?

To simply post "congratulations" here would be as meaningful as a fart in a hurricane.
    What, Me Worry?

Only losers are envious of other peoples success. Yes Alan, you have proven yourself a loser once again.

Sorry. I guess I got excited that someone had a nice hit.

Congratulations Melissa. Thanks for sending the photo. I'm sorry the forum changed.

If she hit 18 royals in a row: that would be worth congratulations.

No, you didnt get excited she hit it, you were trying to push some buttons. Thats why you made this comment "While you're all arguing abut the WOV forum and attacking each other, and insulting each other with words and titles I won't repeat... there are people who really go to casinos and really gamble." Just more of your anti AP BS.

There are at least 4 members here that hit big jackpots frequently but they dont feel the need to post them. People have posted Jackpot pictures online and that lead to their full name being exposed by matching it up with the casino's websites and whatnot. Also, some unknown lurker might get some ideas in their heads if they see big Jackpots. Not to mention, other AP's might be able to track down what location you are frequently playing.

I got a Video of some old lady using a magnifying glass to play VP. I wanted to post it because it was funny as hell. Unfortunately, you could read the name of the casino on the card reader advertisements.

We have more than a hundred pages of jackpot pictures on this forum... and then the WOV boys showed up.

A dream hit! They took that game out where I play. I was paid over $500 for a full house and double for a royal 3 years ago. Fun game- but when it was off, you could also lose a lot. Also, an extra quarter bet ($1.50 instead of $1.25) per hand to activate the multiplier.

And what is it that the "WOV boys" have done to discourage people from posting up pictures?

Could it be that people just end up going broke, perhaps they got the help they needed and stopped gambling?
Perhaps they owed some faimly members money and decided to pay them whats owed instead of gambling.

Sure they're cool to look at, but in reality, they're meaningless. No different than the thousands of slot machine videos on YouTube where these people seem to "never lose." We all know though that for every one video they post of their "big win", there are hundreds of more videos they make where the losses are just much much bigger!

JB--there are large numbers of casual gamblers who are thrilled to hit that jackpot. Whether they are winners or losers over time doesn't matter. It is a hobby or a diversion and they want to have some fun, and winning a jackpot significantly adds to that fun.

You can only look at it from a professional viewpoint.

My hobbies, other than gambling, were mostly sports. While I hated to lose in any sport (I was the guy that ran through walls and dove on concrete, etc.), it was fun, win or lose. One of many reasons that I stopped playing craps was that as a job, it was no longer fun. What I once loved to do as a diversion became a chore when it became my job. So I'm sure you have things that you do for entertainment---gambling is just not one of them.

Let the poor lady have some fun.

  18. #2998
I'm all for them posting the pictures. As I said, they're cool to see. Just don't lie and tell us they make you a profitable gambler.

The problem with looking at jackpot pics is the same as the problem recreational gamblers fall into when they hit a jackpot: it reinforces the gambling urge.

Seeing that it is possible, the player goes forward thinking that lightning can strike on the very next play.

The reality, of course, is that there is not a whole lot of lightning to go around.
    What, Me Worry?

Most of the casual gamblers I know are smarter and more sophisticated than you describe. They have no expectation of winning and just want to have some fun.
