Interesting that you said that. I always use winners to move up to higher denominations. I disagree with Rob who says to move down. Frankly winning $100 with AAAA was not a day-ending win... but had I won $1,000 (royal) on that $30 of free play I would have quit for the day.
Nice hit.
How long did it take for you to lose it on $5 or $10 denom? I kid, I kid.

Congrats Alan. Filled two cards to get the Royal. What casino were you at?

Way to go, OG!
Nice Alan!
Had a good day sweeping out the UX's a couple days ago.
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ
The reason I say to move down is because casinos make lots of their profits from players who are suddenly overconfident and feel they can get an even bigger thrill by doing it again on a higher denomination. It is never wrong to be satisfied with a profit off of free play or anything else.
I'm just surprised no one has said it so I will. You've posted many times how you go into RR to get your small amount of free play and leave with whatever profit you get from running it thru once. Is that really true? I ask because I'm someone who actually does that, and it takes gobs of discipline.
The game was 7/5 Double Double Bonus, 95.71% with no multipliers. On this play 8 lines pay 95.7% and two lines pay 191.4%.
95.71 X 8 = 765.68
191.42 X 2 = 382.84
765.68 + 382.84 = 1148.52
1148.52/10 = 114.85%
So I had a 14.85% edge on the hand. This is the first time I've hit a royal while sweeping out UX's. I don't concentrate on them much.

It'd have to be 90.90909...% base payback for a single 2x on 10-play to be break-even. I've never seen a machine that bad, at least not on UX.
Some years ago, I was showing a guy I played blackjack with how to vulture UX machines, because he didn't really understand what I was doing and he wanted to verify it was +EV since he was taking action on them anyway. Not that it was a huge deal either way since they were almost always very low denom. Anyway, we went looking through some machines and found a 25c DDB game with a few multipliers. Held the ace only, bricked on most of the hands, but connected A's w/ kicker (no multiplier) for $500. That didn't really change his mind (he was already pretty sure it was +EV anyway), since he's a smart guy and knew getting paid back effectively 11+ hands for only betting 10 hands was a great deal.
