    Or is it
    500 X 5 + 10 (15) = 7500

Since you play in casinos all the time and you play these high limit machines all the time you'd know of multipliers are added together or not. I don't play them, and I've never played them. And since you know all this stuff you must be an addict and you must have lost every dime you ever had which is why you post anonymously.

Yeah. Now I figured it out. You really are an anonymous busted gambler.

    Thanks.

By the way, Chimp is a very attractive lady who wouldn't give you the time of day even if the watch on her wrist was broken.
You have already answered your question. Is it any wonder most look at you as a TARD?
Since he didn't have a 7500 but did have a 25k winner it would be safe to assume that it is 500x5x10. One doesn't have to know anything about the machine in order to draw the proper conclusions. Unless, of course, one is a TARD. it is mind bottling that you were once supposedly an investigative reporter.

Like I said, addict MaxPen, I don't know the game or the pays. That wasn't the only hand not showing a payoff in credits.

    Carry on.

Love it chimp! More proof that people win and make profits daily, weekly, and yearly all the time even without knowing the super duper secret AP "code of success!"

Last weekend I went to Vegas without the wife and so decided to "low roll" by staying at the El Cortez. It has an "earthy" clientele and the wife isn't crazy about the lack of amenities and luxury but it works for me. I played some craps and bought in for $500. The table was $5 min plus up to 10 times odds. At first a series of shooters drained my chips to about $200 but then a hot shooter occurred and I pressed my odds to 10 times and came out with a little more than a $300 profit. See below.

I then watched some football at the bar and hit four sevens.

I spotted a quarter denomination Silver Strikes machine and put in a $20. After about three spins, I hit this Red Seven with doublers.

I then put the Silver Strikes winnings into a Double Double Bonus machine at hit four 4s with a kicker (holding only a pair). I thought I was attracting a little too much attention as the credits started "dinging" so I did a rare thing for me and punched the cash out button and headed out.

Because of the money I had lost that weekend at Golden Gate, I only made $200 that weekend but I enjoyed relatively low rolling and the liver and onions at Seigels 1941 restaurant at El Cortez.

Nice hits Fab. I didn't know Silver Strikes machines still existed. I'm pretty certain all silver was eliminated. Can you post a photo of any strikes you won?

I put $5 into a penny 100 play VP machine just to see if I might get lucky. I had a couple of paying pairs then this.

Please take a pic of the payable next time. Its probably 6/5 bonus.

Come on. Don't give us the "what a dumb fuck Alan is" spiel because the game MAY be 6-5. He invested a whole $5.00. Even if it was a 6-5 game, what would that have cost him based upon the math? A couple pennies? It didn't cost him anything when he got the quad dealt.

Now it's just take anything Alan or Rob say or do and attack it, with or without merit. It's becoming tiresome.

The very first place I ever stayed in Las Vegas was the El Cortez, so I have a certain fondness for the place. I loved the old coffee shop, which looked like something out of Guys and Dolls. And there was one particular poker table where, instead of a button, they rotated a plastic rat. I never asked why; I didn't really want to know.

So congrats on the low rolling adventure. I hope to visit the El Cortez in about 10 days on my downtown tour.

I had not been downtown in many years. But recently I went to the mob museum and took a little walk around the downtown area. Didn't like it and felt uncomfortable. Couldn't wait to get back to Caesars. Actually took UBER to Mandalay and walked back to Caesars.

Years ago I would go to Binions to play craps but that isn't what it once was anymore.

By the way, I enjoyed the mob museum. I can honestly say that I knew a lot of those guys.

    Hi Alan:

I actually did not win any Silver Strikes at El Cortez as I stopped playing as soon as I got that Seven with two Double Diamonds. But I do know that Four Queens also has Silver Strike machines. Below are photos of a Silver Strike I won last year. I have no idea whether they are silver plated or now.

BTW, great hit on that 100 play machine. I have never had a dealt 4 of a kind of anything more than a five play.

    +100

I've tried to get "into" downtown for the better gambling and overall better values. But, all the buskers, bums, bucket beaters ect. really turn me off. The casinos seem old and run-down. If I wanted to play in some dingy, smokey, shithole I could just gamble back home and save the trip.

I had some luck of my own last night.

$400 on $1 BDLX went nowhere as did $400 on $2 BDLX, so I went to the $1 TDB. A few hands in, quad nines dealt. Ten hands later, quad tens then quad fours. Credit counter was now over $1100 and I was close to even. I decided on getting to $1200, or down to $800 and calling it a night. Well, boom! AWAK.

Back in the early nineties I ate many a $1 breakfast at the old coffee shop. Bacon and eggs, toast, coffee. People would cue up in line waiting for a seat at the counter but they were quick and you got in and out fairly quickly.
