The way these prizes are scaled is stupid. Worse than poker tournaments. I won by nine full points, which almost never happens. And I won with one of my players, Cody Bellinger, scoring zero. That also never happens, winning with a guy zeroing. But I'll take it. By the way, I know nada about baseball.

As a reward, I'll step out and play a $9 golf tournament tomorrow. LOL. I know less about golf.
    Alright.
I'll give you a little golf clap for your jackpot win.
Seriously though, what kind of handicapper are you?
    Don't know nothing about baseball???
You were just talking about how crazy the under is in the MLB this year.
So you are just a Football Specialist?
I guess you do horses too as you talk about your girlfriend crushing the Race Book?
I get it but I don't get it.
I guess concentrating on football only makes you more precise.
Perhaps you have inside information on College Football Programs and such.
I'd like to have a Heads Up Freeze Out against you involving all 4 major Pro Sports but you probably have too many connections and would be able to get their picks.
Let's make it for 100 bucks.
-They say you shoot big time sportsbook Ditz-
    How bout 200 then?

You went from advising me to bet 3 to 4k on each hockey game straight to telling stories of how you bet 10k on one game to telling us how you play 9 dollar Fan Duel Contests.
    I guess I get it.
Small Ball, Free Tourney and or such.
Seems Odd and you know better than to bet 10k on one ticket... you bet 9999.
These days you should bet more like 900 per ticket, the way they are trying to track everything.
    Cut Cut Cut.
If I hear Good Luck and Do you have a Players Card one more time, Im'a gonna scream!
Fuck You People telling me Good Luck... hate it!
And I know you can tell me about some of my big ticket wins but I did that because I don't want to run around town betting 40 dollar parlays to keep the wins under 3 grand.

Any given year, more than 80% of my betting volume is college football. Sometimes it's 90%. I've been a specialist for 45 years -- guess it's a little late to get the word out.

The idea that "sports bettor" is a kind of overall expertise is like thinking "doctoring" covers gynecology and brain surgery.

As far as fantasy goes, unless you're the nephew of a GM or a coach and you know lineups and game plans in advance, I would not try to seriously bet fantasy sports in its current forms right now. In case you didn't know what some of these places have pulled in the past:

    Ok.
I'm slow and I'm not one of these guys who reads your blogs or cares to look you up trying to find out all your information that you freely gave away on this site.
I could care less if you use your real name or not.
I think I did a quick search on you once months or a year ago and nothing came up.
I believe that your some hot shot College Football Guru though.
I guess it just takes too much time away from everything else?
I don't understand how you don't get into baseball as it is by far the easier sport.
And IMO the NHL is worthy of a gloss over.
I get it though, 45 years of crushing... why fix what isn't broken, right?
It just seems like a lot of down time and a lot of missed opportunities.
None of your pals giving you inside information or tips on a baseball game?

I honestly don't know anyone who beat MLB convincingly over the long haul. The only people who've won have committed to "bulk betting" for whatever reason in a particular season and pounded an angle due to rule changes. For example, this season, with the DH in the NL now, some folks decided that the NL totals were moved too high, so they tackled the Unders. I didn't do it, but they made a fortune. Right now I think the totals have shifted too low, so if anything (given that Unders are 45 games above .500), I'd take the Overs for totals of less than 10 for awhile. In the NL, I think that'll show a profit for the next few weeks.

    Hockey I know nothing about.

There are savants in college hoops and college football who really know what they are doing, but we're not talking a lot of people -- maybe a dozen in each. College hoops is probably the sport that can be beaten most. But by the end of the college hoops season, the numbers are razor sharp. They move a lot, though, so middles-shooting is a real opportunity late in the year if you have a handle on where the bigger money is coming from.

It took a long time for you to come out of your shell but when you do you really do.
It seems crystal clear after reading this post of yours that I know nothing about sports betting and am nothing but Hot Air.
    Thanks for the information.

Monet, just for the record. I don't want to overstate my gambling level. I figured the $9 golf contest was too steep an investment, so I went with three $3 entries.

Note: Despite Unders now being 53 games above .500 for both leagues combined, my advice in the post above was sound if you followed it. You have a nice NL profit to this point in time from the posting.

Now today has a lot of low numbers, but also very good pitchers. I would still fire Overs at the NL games today (skipping Colorado due to total of 10 or above), then regroup when the smoke clears. I will report tomorrow as to whether to continue or end the project.

    Appreciated!
I waited years for this day that you would post like this.
And now that it is here I can't really take advantage of it.
Just too many games to bet.
Way too much leg work for me.
Still love to see you posting like this.
    Keep it up!

P.S. I love the OVER on the Colorado game today.

P.S. I love the OVER on the Colorado game today.
I skipped all the 10s and up during this stretch, except one Colorado game the other night came down to 9 1/2 a couple hours before start, so I plugged it in.

The only reason I posted this was because I don't know anything about baseball. It's the classic bulk bet angle. Today will be interesting. Day games with good pitchers, but the numbers are all low, so we'll see what happens.

Finally got my first 180 out of about 400 throws.
I never thought I was going to get one.
They say it only gets easier from here on out.
    Feels Good Man...

I do not recommend this dartboard as the "spider" isn't as friendly as other choices.
And the Darts bounce out of the Bull a lot.
After reading some more reviews about this board I could be wrong about my statements.
Many people say this board is one of the best for less bounce outs.
    I'm new.

We all know your fat ass wobbled up and stuck them into the board from inches away!

    More like waddled up.
    I threw a 160 two rounds later.
Bases Loaded with the first 2 darts and I whiffed into the one on the 3rd shot.
100 throws later and only one 120.
I read somewhere that the odds of throwing a 180 these days is about an 8% chance.
I'm not sure if they factored in pro players into that number though.
I think they took all league statistics to determine that.
Very uncommon in league 301 play compared to 501 play since you have to double in and double out in 301.
In 501 you don't usually play with the double in which makes a big difference for the 180 it seems.
Before they invented Tungsten Darts it was much more difficult to score a 180, even for the pros.
The darts were much thicker and heavier and the treble was much tighter at 7.5mm compared to todays easy treble at 9.5mm!!
These days the pros make 180 look pretty darn easy with larger trebles and super slim Tungsten Darts.
Personally, I am still learning and really haven't settled in on what weight or type of dart to throw.
Lately, I have been throwing only the set of 25g CUESOUL Professional 95% Tungsten Steel Tip Darts that I have.
But as you can see in the picture I swapped out two of the flights using the Viper Blitz Flights which are stiffer and easier to correct.
Not long after that picture I swapped out the third dart flight.
I have a bunch of flights incoming and another set of darts to try out.
    It's a process.
I'm just figuring out how to flick my wrist to throw with little arm movement which seems to work better for me.
Damn Game is more difficult than I remember in my childhood.
25 grams feels good to me but in the end it is probably too heavy once I get better.
The Viper Blitz 95% Tungsten Darts are good but the spinning shafts are a gimmick that I'm not onboard with.

    Nice tossing.

I enjoy a bit of darts myself, but I use the plastic tips (oh, the horror!).

It's fun late at night to go out in the garage, smoke a bowl of good weed, put Van Halen's eponymous CD on hi end garage stereo then kick back and throw.

I'm getting better but not ready for league play.

    Shits and giggles.

I've been using this DartsCounter thing on my phone.
It makes it a little more interesting as you are playing against a bot.
I like all the variations of the games but for now I stick to 501 single in double out.
I have not found it any easier to hit the treble 20 after making my first 180.
I find it very difficult to be consistent.
My average is about 45 points per round.
    Not very good.
From my understanding you have to practice a few hours per day if you want to really raise your average score.
Leagues sound fun but I hate the set schedules.
In Vegas I read that they have weekly open tournaments that anyone can join for 10 bucks.
If I ever do play in public that is probably the route I would take.
But I'm over the Noisy Bar Scene and don't feel like drinking and throwing darts.
It's so much easier to just throw in my bedroom at anytime I feel like it.
Since picking up this game I have a hatred for the number 26.
    20, 5, 1.
Double Out can be very annoying for me but the opposite feeling when you hit it.

    Probably smarter.
    I usually throw barefoot.
I accidently dropped a dart into my foot the other day.
LOL... I'm more careful about it now.
