I told the story before about how I was at Caesars and a lady had only one quarter left playing the 25-cent Wheel of Fortune progressive. She got all three symbols for a $10,000 win and had she had three quarters played it would have been, if I recall, about two million dollars. She cried uncontrollably while many of us standing around said that had she taken the time to change a dollar bill or put a dollar bill into the machine to play three credits she would have won zip.

Edited to add: By the way remember the Majestic Lions 2-million+ progressive at MGM Grand? It took years for the progressive to be hit on the single machine. But actually several players lined up all the lions but had only one dollar played and not three.

People get lucky. Big multiple wins happen. Just this morning Jason and I were talking again about big wins in short periods of time. I asked him for his 5 W2Gs showing the single line $4,000 royals he hit in 24 hours at Caesars and Gold Strike. When he digs them out I am going to post photos. I hope someone will share them over at the WOV forum.

The clowns at WoV wouldn't believe that even if Jason had a certified WoV member with him taking videos. Multiple royals like that isn't something that's theoretically possible on -EV machines to those people, and the fact that it's real only frustrates them further into disallowing the event from entering into the equation.

After my 2nd royal last Thurs. night two couples came up to me. One said they play four times a week on nickels, and they haven't ever seen a royal in 26 years. The other couple told me they play every day and hit one royal between them in 16 years. When my 3rd royal came they got up and walked out disgusted while I was getting paid.

BTW I left zero in tips. How much would you socialists have left the hand payers on $28,000 in jackpots if it were you?

Gamblers love to sensationalize their results. Nobody actually plays for decades without seeing a royal.

That's hard for me to answer because I never would have played those games. Bob Dancer recently mentioned tip amounts ("Gambling With an Edge," April 19th, Jimmy Jazz). He recalled playing a double royal promo in Vicksburg. The game was 25-cent, 100-play NSUD -- so he had a strong edge mathematically.

We did make sure that we tipped a little bit generously -- a $10 tip on a 2000 royal was too big percentage-wise, but it does get their attention, and so if you hit another one, they come quickly when they see your light on. So overall, it's a smart investment.

Rob, I know you disagree with the premise, but for others, my question: If I tip $10 on a $2000 royal, will the casino employees love me? I find that hard to believe.

No surprise you left nothing in tips....obviously by the way you dress,you have no class....your personal hygiene appears to lack also...but I only saw one video
