I have never seen any kind of triple bonus games with a 10/6 paytable nor have I heard of one. They are all top heavy with pays and low paying at the bottom. Being paid even money for two pair is not unusual. 7/5 seems right to me.

Remember this new game is introduced by WMS gaming as it makes an entry into video poker.

Thanks Alan--yes--it was dealt. Seems the only way I can get a big win is dealt--I never draw the big card. Two hands later had 4 to the Royal dealt--nuthin. I'd of had to scrape my buddy off the ceiling if the royal were dealt for $20,000.

Also had aces dealt on a .50 3 way DDB same day. Had to draw for the kicker and got 2 of 3.

I have been getting lots of aces but I yearn for the Royal.

wow, you sound like me during 2011 when I had a 180,000 run of hands without a royal but I was getting quad aces and straight flushes right and left -- sometimes two or three in a day.

So far this year Ive put thru approximately $433,000 (based on my current Tier Score) playing 8/5 aces and faces mostly at the $2 level but some $5 and I've had zip on royals and at least a dozen dealt four to the royal and half a dozen quad aces (mostly at $2, one at $5). I just hope this isn't the start of another 180,000 hand royal drought.

7/5 seems as wrong as the actual 10/6 version I saw last night. That 7/5 version has a 96.5% payback, while the 10/6 is around 100.5%. One other thing, although not a biggie: the Wizard's version has a 275 credit payout for the SF. The one I saw was the standard 250. I'll grab a picture if I hit that casino again. I'm also thinking--and I didn't look at this--that the penny game may take up to 25 credits like many penny games do. If that's the case, it's really available in quarters.

I didn't fare so well in the gambling dept. the past couple of days. I lost my Super Bowl bet, then I tried to win some of it back on the vp machines overnight. But to add insult to injury I lost a mix of dollars, quarters, & 50c credits (3000 credits total, equalling $1100) going without hitting a quad thru the entire amount. Never have I had such a bad run without them--not even close. But I soothe myself by thinking of all the slot club points I accumulated....

Anyway, Alan, did you read John G's column on TBP that was put up on vpFree? I have to straighten that guy out on how & when to use a special play or else he'll lose all his money fast when he plays it!

Also, I saw a new game I wasn't familiar with in the casino last night, or at least it was new to me. I don't think it was an IGT machine either, but it had to be an over 100% game. It's called Triple TRIPLE Bonus Poker. Yes that's right. It had the same paytable as those rare 10/6 DDBP games, but four A's with a kicker pays 4000, four 2's thru 4's with an ACE kicker only pays 4000, and there was a 2000 credit payout of some kind having to do with quad 2's thru 4's also. I saw it on two machines but it was only available in pennies thru 20c. Where have all the "AP's" gone??
Wow Singer actually admits to a losing session and admits to playing quarters! My image of you is totally blown.

    vegaswinner777 thanks for joining us!

Rob.Singer I found your version of 10/6 Triple Triple Bonus on the Caesars.com website where Total Rewards members can play the game for free. Photo of the paytable is on the "WMS My Poker" thread where I'd like to continue this discussion.

Here's more from IGT and Pala about the Megabucks win:

A 32-year-old slot player from Ontario, CA, won $3,229.365.15 Friday night (Feb. 1) while playing a California Megabucks Double 3x4x5x Times Pay progressive slot machine at Pala Casino Spa & Resort. The player had wagered $40 when the jackpot hit and requested to remain anonymous.
“It is the largest jackpot payout in the history of Pala Casino Spa & Resort,” said Bill Bembenek, chief executive officer. Pala opened for business on April 3, 2001.
The Megabucks machine at Pala is part of a statewide progressive slot network operated by International Gaming Technology (IGT) of Reno, NV, in 37 casinos in California. The network includes 60 slot machines.
The Megabucks jackpot starts at $3 million and grows based on the amount of coin-in play at each casino. When the jackpot is hit, it re-sets to $3 million.

    And from Pala:
The winner is a member of our Privileges Players Club and plays here regularly.

The Megabucks® player, who wished to remain anonymous, won while visiting the casino on Friday night. The new multimillionaire was shocked and said, "I almost fainted!"

"This $3-million Megabucks jackpot is the largest jackpot ever to hit at Pala Casino Spa and Resort," said Bill Bembenek, Pala Casino Spa and Resort's chief executive officer. Here's a look at what's inside a hot streak. But I can't find the 25c triple play royal unless you still have it Alan. There's just so many jackpot pictures a guy can keep up with!

Well here we go again. Today, because I've been on a scorching hot streak, I did what I've been wanting to do for a while since being up here in northern Nevada. The machines I've been beating at Casino Fandango have ARTT-friendly 6-levels (25c/50c/$1/$2/$5/$10). So today I committed to playing up to 3 ARTT sessions right up thru the $10 level, which meant I brought, as ARTT rules state, 3X 400 credits of the highest denomination I am to play, which is $12k. I went in with a win goal of $500 because of the high play $10 limit.

In my first session, right after needing to play $10 8/5 BP (another "-EV game" that no one is supposed to win on ) this hand appeared for a net $1000+ payday, easily surpassing my win goal.

I'm going to go play up thru varying denominations the next few days only because my machines remain hot, and I'll report back on the results.

The wife and I stopped at Fandango the last time we were out west. It's nice, mini Peppermill.

  12. #132
Yes exactly. And I have a reduced desire to drive the 45 miles to get to the Peppermill any more since these machines are so cooperative. Nice restaurants too, plus a movie theater.

  13. #133
So here's yet ANOTHER reason why Fandango is my kinda place--and a $5000+ pay day. I'm on FIRE. And notice the AP-gut wrenching 9/5 ddb paytable! None of those misleds would have played this machine....and none of them would have hit this either!!

Luck is a great thing. I wish I knew what it was. Kinda like 'lectricity. Anyway, wish we could come out there but untill Obama dries up and goes away its just going to be very hard to make a buck. Rob I e-mailed you a few years ago about the route from vegas to reno and you e-mailed me back," well 95 obviously", but at the time I was looking at 395 out of tahoe south through california. We eventualy took the trip up to Reno on 95 then back to Vegas on 395 had a great trip along the eastern side of the Sierras checked out Mono lake and stayed overnight in Bishop Cal. Way more interesting drive for someone not "driven" by the casinos. lol

  15. #135
I agree with that dual-route drive quahaug....all except for the luck. I am no luckier than anybody else. It's simply that, when I use either my strict strategies or something close to them, I will always win far more than I'll lose. Just think, if I were like arci or any other self-proclaimed "AP", I'd have spent hours pounding away at the same denomination for 6-7 BORING & WASTED hours, played right thru four aces, and ended up a loser for the session. Instead, ARTT afforded me a huge profit and a relatively short playing time.

    I do remember the correspondence.

So arci wants everyone to believe I'm in some apartment in Scottsdale Well, here's a few pictures I took today of my wife holding our 3-yr. old beautiful (and VERY expensive!) shih tzu, Porsha, and in front of our RV with my motorcycle attached to the back. It's way too cold up here to even think of riding it.

And how do we combat arci's certain assertions that I just grabbed the narest female and she agreed to the shoot, while Cindy resides somewhere in Arizona? Eh-em....this is an RV park folks, and while Cindy is now 60 years old, you're not gonna find any ladies in any RV park near as cute as her. Plus who else would be able to hold our doggie?

    Sorry arci......

One can only chuckle at a person who thinks an undated photograph is proof of anything. Not only that but the idiot doesn't even know how to rotate the picture. Hilarious.

I smell a bad past several days....and a whole lot of JEALOUSY!

I also just checked the pics. Which one hurts the most arci--the $8000 win by your obsession who can afford to play $10 machines....or proof that we are who & where we say we are while you, of course, are forever immersed in your self-caused day-to-day struggles? Eh-em, by the way, all 3 pics show a 2/28/2013 date. Haha again my friend!

Now go find solace at the bowling alley with your bunch of more 70-somethings
