Rob, the problem is when we provide our proof, you dismiss it, comments like, "free play isn't cash, it has no value", "only losers play for comps", "just because the HE is ~0.5%, anything can happen when you play", etc....

You nor anyone else have ever provided proof. All you guys do is continuously claim that because you say you only "play with an edge" then that's somehow proof of winning. Didn't work out so good for the king of playing with an edge (Shack) now, did it. At least he proved something when he had to beg for money.

Odd you say that. I've talked to him in person and he told me he was, and he's pretty believable. If you don't think he's an AP, please explain if his by-line is something a tourist would choose....or would it originate from the mind of an AP.

Maybe in the past before he was well known and recognizable. But now, there's no way he'd get away with AP play. Especially table games. Not everything revolves around VP.

Getting back to the purpose of this particular thread: big casino wins and jackpots.

Below is my Royal #4 of the year. At Caesars Palace last night. I had to drive up to do some "due diligence" on a particular issue and then stopped in for a little play. I started with $1,000 in the machine and the machine was "hot" giving me KKKK twice, and quad 4s all before I hit the Royal. I cashed out a profit on the $1,000 as well as the handpay on the Royal.

What's interesting is that this is the same machine that I hit the sequential royal on -- the only single line $5 machine in the Palace Court Slots room. This was my second royal on that machine. I'm not saying that machine is "loose" -- I think the concentration of royals on that machine is because there are only a few machines that I play both at Caesars and at Rincon so if I am going to hit a royal it most likely will be on one of those few machines.

To recap the previous royals this year (2015)

1. 25-cents on Bonus at Rincon
2. $5 sequential at Caesars
3. 3x multiplier on 25-cents on Super Times Pay at Rincon
4. and the new one is this $5 royal on the same machine as Royal #2

I agree with Alan on this one. Saying Shackleford wasn't/isn't an AP is disingenuous. Obviously, there are some casinos, somewhere, where he could flex his AP muscles. Also, if you extend the definition of AP to all forms of gambling, including horse and sports betting, Shackleford does imply that he is an AP.

Singer will point this out -- saying someone is not an AP because casinos do not allow his play, therefore he has no way to make money, is just a semi-smooth way to allow anyone who calls themselves an AP to go broke gambling and blame it on something other than their AP expertise.

Shackleford considered himself a sports gambling expert, or at least as someone who was in bed with them. Nobody banned him from sports gambling.

So you're stating an opinion about Shack when he says otherwise. OK. When I talked to him he said his AP play included VP (never able to win at it) BJ, Sports Betting, live poker, and occasionally baccarat.

Casinos not only allow, the WANT AP's to play in their casinos. Why do you think they run so many +EV promotions all the time, almost non-stop? They know the AP's will rush in with more cash from any source possible than the normal Joe. It is what keeps their operations going.

Rob, learn to hole card blackjack and poker games and see how long you last. This is what true APs that are real threats do. They don't waste they're time on negligible +EV stuff. Even I wouldn't. Might as well just get that In and Out job Alan mentioned.

Anthony Curtis & Stan Wong used to claim the same thing--that they were banned up & down the Strip because they were so good at that. I investigated them for GT. Not one Casino Manager said it was true, and I wrote the article about it.

I agree casinos can and do toss people who are stupid enuf to get caught. None of it proves any of them win.

No casino manager is going to tell you the truth about other people. I dont care who asks them. They have a reputation to uphold.
