Thread: Big Casino Wins and Jackpots

The dates are not imbedded in the photos and hence meaningless. Could have easily been edited into the picture. You don't have a clue, do you?

  2. #142
So before they "didn't have dates" but now "they do have dates"...only they are EDITED dates Looks to me like your age, your family situation, your unthinkable boredom, and your terrible, terrible Singer-envy has done more damage to the brain than the effects of the leaking battery acid fumes as you keep having to change those lithium batteries in that back-up power pack you guys need up there.

    Good luck with that.

I want to stay totally neutral where Rob and arci are concerned, but those photos show 6:53 PM as the time of day don't they?

EDIT: Sunset time in Nevada yesterday was 5:35 PM...

All I did is state well known facts. I can see how you might feel a little ridiculous but that's getting to be pretty normal nowadays.

As for boredom, how can that possibly be when I have you making a fool out of yourself on a daily basis. You're good for 2 or 3 good belly laughs every day. The latest one ... "back-up power pack you guys need up there" ... bwha haha haha haha haha

And Count, just imagine how arci will process THIS hit from last hour! I continue to be on fire. I went to the casino today with a br of $2400, playing 25c thru $2 ARTT with a mini-win goal of $50 and an overall win goal of $200. My advanced BP game of choice was TDB because it's been so profitable in the last week or so. I lost my first $800 session with no cashouts. I won $90 in the second session. This beauty came in the 3rd session and made for about a $3900 payday. SWEEEEEEEEET!!

Like them apples arci? or should I say, batteries for the hov-a-round!!!

Oh BTW, I'll be going over to play one more round tomorrow---IF they'll let me, that is!

Sure. In the one I played today, I used a $2400 bankroll because I played 25c/50c/$1/$2. It can be played with any denominations with an at least 2:1 ratio between each denomination increase. My "mini win goal" is $50 and my overall win goal is $200. Here's how it's played, and here's how the mini win goal works.

You begin by putting 100 credits worth of your highest denomination into the machine. Today, for me, that was $200 and the game is BP. You cash out if & when you reach at least $450, then you start over and only stop when you get at least $200 ahead--or you lose $2400 but NOT anything you've already won and pocketed, such as the $50.

You begin by playing a hand on 25c. Push and you play again at 25c. Get any winner two pair or better, then play another hand at quarters. But lose the hand, and you go up to the next level (50c) and play a hand on BP. Win with two pair or better and you go back to quarters and start again. But if you keep losing and find yourself playing $2 BP, you keep playing at that level until you either lose the remainder of the original $200...or you win at least $1.25 more than what you had when you played your first hand at the $2 level. And if you do lose the $200, you insert $600 and play until you win at least $201.25--whereas you'll go back to 25c and start again, assuming you have not won at least $200 so you can quit and go home. If you do lose the $600, you play a second session. I have never lost 3 straight sessions in a casino visit.

Although I was set to finish my assault tomorrow, my wife told me we had to be at a friend's house in Reno all day so I went over to complete the task a day early. And glad I am--not only for the two wins below, but because I need at least a month off from this stuff, and besides, Fandango likely won't let me back in as soon as they realize the best player in history owns them.

But it didn't start out well. It's Friday, the weather's nice, and the place was packed. I could not sit at any of the 4-level machines going up to $2, so I picked a simple 3-level up to dollars to play ARTT on. Now I never recommend less than 4 levels and I would never have done this when I was playing professionally, but today's a different story.

I've always said Aces was the hand that makes my game and I think I'm proving that very nicely these past few days. What do you think?

Oh, notice the AP-unfriendly but RS-friendly pay table--9/5! They say you can't beat these negative games. Oh yeah? This type of machine gave me Aces 3 times in two days, and I don't even know how much I won tonight although it's over a thousand.

    WOW! And arci....

I hate getting great hands for the wrong game, and that's what happened early Saturday when playing bonus poker and both times I got a deuce kicker with my quad aces. This happens too many times when playing bonus or even jacks-or-better. Hands like these don't come along when playing double-double bonus or triple double bonus, but when you play bonus or jacks you seem to get them all the time.

    Deuce in different positions.

Alan, the various versions of aces and faces pays better than their counterparts with low kickers. Given the choice I assume you'd play the better games which means a deuce is not a kicker.

Interestingly, the jack above with Singer's aces would have been a kicker. So, he cost himself $1200 by playing an inferior game. Such is life.

Correct. There is a game called Double Bonus Aces and Faces and the kickers are the Ace, King, Queen and Jack. They have that game at Rincon but it has a lower paytable, not 8/5 like the traditional Aces and Faces. I think two pair pays even money.

8/5 is a terrible pay table for DBAF. One should play nothing less than 9/7 which is about the same return as 8/5 bonus A/F. The biggest increase in the A/F games is the 9/6 DDBAF which pays about 99.45% vs. 98.98 for regular 9/6 DDB.

  14. #154
Arc, I misspoke -- the game is double double Aces and Faces and it also has an 8/5 pay table with even money for two pair. I don't touch it.

  15. #155
    Smart man.

I used to play 9/6 DDBAF at Tuscany with over 2% in CB+freeplay+comps. Then I found DB+, another variation of DDB that paid back 99.78%. So I switched to that one. Eventually, they both were removed but that was just one month before I left Vegas for good. Another good run while it lasted.

  16. #156
Haha! 97%, 98%, 99%....or trying to justify playing something at Tuscany because all the stupid slot club fluff makes game "playable"! When will the geeks of the world realize paytables mean very little to anyone ever. A paytable is only important to a casino. As I have always done with these "unbeatable, absolutely horrific" -EV games, the fact that I was playing a 9/5 ddb game this week meant HOW much arci?

You go ahead and keep getting nervous over what a full house pays. I'll keep counting the cash

That you lost $50,000 to be able to post pictures of less than $20,000 in winnings maybe? Yeah you really educated us

Bbbbbut....arci says I don't HAVE that kind of money....or ever had the big house! And as we've seen on here the past few weeks--starting with Alan's devastating call for arci to our RV park--arci never lies!!

Actually, if you look at the past few weeks for Obama, it's been a tough time as President and really, his worst. Mirror that (projection ) with that which arci has just had to go thru, and indeed, he still goes thru as he reads this then turns around to fix the chair. Thing just haven't been hunky dory for the guy lately. Even bowling a 300 game with other pale-skinned oldies hasn't dulled the sharpness of my daggers.

  19. #159
Hey I was talking to you, don't steer this away and pull Arci in. It's you and me little boy. I never stated you don't have that kind of money. Maybe you have 1 billion, I don't care. We already knew you're a redneck Rob so you don't have to pull Obama in either. Please try to solve this one on your own buddy.

  20. #160
What I like about you is how easy it was to reel you into something you swore to Alan you wouldn't do! But Don't be thinking a mea culpa will do any good right now. All I'm trying to determine is if I've humiliated arci....or you, the most.
