Next time you are in a casino, please take a close look at the $100 bills you are getting. The "new" $100 bills have not yet been released, and since casinos are the #1 users of $100 bills, they would get them first... and probably because casinos really need them.

$100 bills get worn out by bill acceptor machines (the pin hole effect, take a look).

Are you finding the bills are getting grungy or grungier?

Still no release date for the new $100s ... and even if Uncle Sam announced a release today, they actually wouldn't be released to the public for 6 months to accommodate employee and consumer education campaigns.

By the way, has anyone spotted a $500 or $1,000 bill in a casino recently? Whenever I go to the cage I always ask if they have one or two or more... because they are all worth more than face value. A few years ago someone did cash one at Caesars but a savvy cage teller got it.
