Thread: Random???

This past Thursday I was playing VP all afternoon and it seemed every other hand I was dealt 2 dueces which never filled. I have no specifics other than it was very obvious that it was happening way beyond normal.

Finally, in frustration and since I was leaving in 10 minutes (and getting murdered) I put $100 into a $1.00 Triple Play on Dueces Wild which I never play. I hit 4 Dueces for $1000.

So I go to Super Times Multi Play and play Dueces Wild for 50 Cents and hit dueces on the third line with a 2x bonus for $4,000.

Now I go to a $5.00 single line and play dueces wild and hit dueces for $5,000.

Finally, I go to a Triple Double Bonus Triple Play for $1.00 and get dueces with a kicker on 2 lines for $4,000.

This was all within a 1 hour time frame and again, after fanning on 2 dueces all day.

Sorry--no pictures because my phone "flashes" and I have already been warned. Can't sneak pictures cause of the flash.

But does this whole thing seem odd? 2 dueces being dealt all day and I finally just took a shot at a game I never play.

By the way--I do believe in not giving back the profits and after each hit was only re-investing a max of $100. They just kept popping.

Maybe you should have had TWO dates that night?

It's just the math catching up with you regnis. Any AP will tell you that there is no other explanation. It's not rigged machines; it's not Divine Intervention; it's not luck. It's simply what happens to every STRONG player. Guaranteed!

I hit quad aces three times one night playing Bonus. At Caesars I was DEALT quad aces with a kicker twice in less than a half hour playing $5 DDB on the same machine. You, Rob, got back-to-back royals. This stuff happens and you know it. But your mind likes to put experiences together to form patterns, and you know that too, Rob.

Rob, when you got the back-to-back royals do you think the casino rigged the game to pay off for the new player who just walked in the door on his way to a tour of Nevada casinos? (You wrote about this in one of your books.)

Regnis... congratulations, you got lucky. So, did you have two dates or not?

There was a time I was a true believer in whatever the "experts" told us about the machines, whatever the casinos told us about the machines, and whatever the on-line Regs told us about the machines. Then lots of people wrote to me telling me of some odd occurrences, I also noticed & believed there were a few oddities, I was told by an IGT employee that we "may not be seeing" all the regulations as agreed to between the manufacturers, the casinos, and the state, and it was so compelling that I bent the rules by going out and getting one of the newer machines to test.

Are there any non-random machines out there. Absolutely. Are they able to be detected by players? Not at all. Are non-random machines against the law/against regulations...ie, are they "rigged". Absolutely not, because they are ALLOWED to be that way.

So I have no idea if I was meant to see back-to-back royals or not. Probably not, but no one can prove anything either way, and the probability of there being non-random machines in the mix favors believers in common sense.

Just another case of a casino rigging machines to give away money.
