Thread: Caesars Announces online poker for real money coming soon to Nevada

Caesars Palace just sent out its Seven Stars guide and in it is an announcement that online poker for real money is coming soon to Nevada.

This will probably mean Caesars will make tablets or laptops or computers available in public areas and rooms and at the pool to keep its hotel guests at the Nevada properties playing online when not in the actual casino.

Read more here and see the announcement page in the new 7 Stars guide for 2013-14:

Also in the new guide book, Caesars announced that there will be a new Total Rewards credit card replacing the one issued by Bank of America. You can sign up for the new TR credit card at www.totalrewards.com/creditcard after April 1st.

The actual 7 Stars guide for 2013-2014 is a smaller publication than in years past (budget cutting, obviously) but the "benefits" and "offers" haven't changed much. There is still the $500 annual celebration dinner, the annual gift, and the 7 Stars "experiences" that include special trips to other casinos for events such as golf, sporting events, shows, dinners, or a $500 shopping credit at the Forum Shops at Caesars.

Among the annual gifts being offered for 2013 are:

A Cross 10-kt gold filled pen set (get this for a Bar Mitzvah gift)
A Cross watch and pen gift set (never saw a Cross watch before)
    Apple 16GB iPod Nano Kit
Sony Reader Wi-Fi with Enhanced Touchscreen
    Canon Elph 16MP Digital Camera

    They are being overly optimistic.

I don't think we will see a running legal online poker room for most (if not all) of 2013. The regulations haven't even been written yet, to my knowledge.

Even if one does run, it will be virtually useless unless other states jump aboard.

The plan is to allow other states to "opt in" and share player pools with Nevada.

If it's for Nevada residents only, there simply won't be a big enough player pool, especially at medium and high limits.
