Thread: Catch Me When You Can.

This break in the action is coming on a day where we chose to stay in and relax. Most days, we're out doing several of many different things you do and hope to be able to do in retirement. And I'm actually busier and more active these days than I ever was when I worked or was a full time professional gambler. No, Vic or Vegas or whoever made the comment, I do not read every post on or after the days we go out to experience "life", so please don't be so disappointed.

I'm not expecting to play until I feel up to it again since it just hasn't been that much of a challenge for me lately. In short, I'm tired of winning. And Spock, if you have a chance, please tell me how many hands and hours I played during my winning streak here recently. I didn't count, and I didn't write it down.

Me too. I'm tired of winning. It wears you out. Just ask Charlie Sheen.

"Tired of winning." That's a new one. "Dear Lord, please make me tired of winning."

That's why I lose now and then--just to break the boredom.

Used to be a friend of a friend that claimed gigantic wins every time he played blackjack. After I hadn't seen him at the casinos for awhile, I bumped into him and he told me he had to quit cause he was winning too much.

I am going to start a new business providing therapy to all these unhappy winners. I'll make a fortune!!!

Of course, it wasn't lost on me that "Catch Me When You Can" is a slight variation of "Catch Me If You Can," the biography of young con man Frank Abagnale, played by DiCaprio in the movie. Abagnale was a fabulous con artist -- his cons were outrageous, and people should have known better (he was 18/19), but they swallowed them.

I think "Rob Singer" is having a good old time, seeing how seriously his stuff is taken by some folks.

I posted this question on the other thread, but it went unanswered.

In keeping with the theme of the title of this thread, I have a question for "Rob Singer". Actually this question is for Mr. Argentino, the creator of the "Rob Singer" persona. Have YOU Mr. Argentino the actual person, (not the invented "Rob Singer") actually banked a net profit of $1 million dollars playing VP using the systems and special plays discussed here using the "Rob Singer" persona? Are the special plays, and winning claims fabricated like the Rob Singer persona?

    Any comments or answers?

I did answer that eddie, but it could be that you, like myself, don't have the time to read everything.

In the 11 or so years I played professionally, I won a net profit of $984,000 directly from the machines, without counting any slot club extras of any kind. I'd say about 60%-70% of that was from playing my SPS (single play strategy) and the remainder from my RTT, ARTT, Fiveplay, and Multistrike strategies.

Since I am an author, Rob Singer is my chosen pen name. I chose that name when I began my website, vptruth.com, in 2000. I started playing professionally slightly earlier.

Being so famous for chasing Aces-it was that very thing that made his decision to quit-despite a Royal.
