Thread: Singer Challenge

You know, Alan, your sensitivity to the word "fraud" led me to ask around and do some research. You are correct in that the legal sensitivity to the use of this word when you attach someone to it is much, much more than, say, 20 years ago. It is a real legal hair trigger, so I understand where you're coming from. I have read about actual multi-million dollar lawsuits stemming from less than what Rob just posted. The problem seems to be that calling someone a fraud translates into "malice."

I established myself in the news business for putting people in jail for real fraud and real cons, so I am very sensitive about who is accused of fraud and who is accused of being a conman.

By the way, I wrote a screenplay called "Con Gals" which is available for option which is based on real frauds and cons that I covered as a news reporter. It follows two young woman on a road trip across the country financed by their cons and schemes and how they find themselves and come to terms with their crimes.

And if this screenplay doesn't tickle you, I have six others... like everyone else in LA has.

I'm interested in why redietz thinks Alan or even I only attribute the words "AP" to vp.

Then I'll say it again: I wrote my book to expose the fraud as perpetrated by the so-called video poker AP's/"experts" whose phoney claims that it is a way to beat the machines over ANY amount of time, amounted to nothing less than selling their wares and taking money from wannabees and unsuspecting players in order that they may continue to gamble. It is NOT a responsible method of approaching the game.

I've said this for years, I've been threatened with lawsuits twice in LV, and both times I replied to bring them on so I could more easily expose these people for what they really were and are. The result: ESCAPE, which was the usual response whenever it was RS vs. ANYBODY in any kind of challenge or bet. Why? Not because of blind bravado or anything like it. It was because I was right....and everyone always KNEW I was always right when it came to anything video poker.

Today, I still invite anyone who wants to, to sue me on any of this vp stuff. The difference today is I wouldn't waste the time of day bothering with it, since we're both retired, our income is 100% retirement income, and all assets have been "taken care of" in the past 2 years. So redietz, if any of your "AP" buddies or anyone else anywhere takes offense to the truths I teach, tell them to make it for billions!

But Rob it's not fraud and it's not a con. It might be bad information, and poor judgment and bad strategy but its not criminal.

Go ahead and say that if you follow their advice you are doomed lose, or you will go broke, but don't say they are carrying out a fraud or a con.

My legal obligation on this website is to correct your mistaken allegations because I am not going to be liable for your libelous statements and as the site owner I can be. I'll ask you again to stop your allegations about criminal contact. There is no place for it here unless you have proof and I am going to ask you to provide your "proof" to me in advance before you make similar allegations again.

Please respect this. I have given you a lot of leeway but this is where I draw the line for you and for Arc.

OK. We disagree on the term as it applies to people who purposely take other people's money in return for information they absolutely know is misleading and potentially damaging. That's why I've always never charged for the information, advice, and training I've dispersed. I learned losers do that; winners don't need to.

Anyway, I spent a few days here since we had a break. Keep the AP's in check until I can get back on. Not arci though. He has to go to the pharmacy twice a day for excitement

    Enjoy your travels Rob!!

To address Rob's question (and glad you asked) -- since you have stated that you believe all "AP's" lose, and that they spend mega-hours in smoke-filled casinos and have unhealthy lifestyles, we are faced with two options. If you have used the definition of "AP's" incorrectly, then what you're saying is that all video poker players lose except those using your system. If, on the other hand, you have defined "AP's" correctly, then what you're saying is that all blackjack players, poker players, and sports and race bettors have lost/will lose as "advantage players."

Even the great Rob Singer wouldn't be so brain dead as to say that all blackjack players, poker players, and sports or race bettors lose, so we have to assume you have used the definition of "advantage player" incorrectly in most of your posts, since "advantage player" refers to people doing all of the above. Be my guest -- call a few casino managers, and see how they define "advantage player."

Hey Alan, are you saying the word f***d can only be used in a criminal sense? You got Me scared to even type it for fear of getting sued or arrested!

If I said "Joe QQQ committed fraud by selling that book" I would be libeling Joe QQQ unless I had proof of his fraud. As a website forum publisher I can be held liable for allowing libelous posts to be made on my site, even by anonymous posters.

I am all for freedom of speech, but I draw the line when libel and dangerous and unlawful comments are made.

It is against the law for example to call for the violent overthrow of the government. I would not allow those comments to be made here.

Anyone want to bet that someone threatened Speedo with a lawsuit? Every time he comments he tells another lie.

You know, to get back to the thread's initial subject, it's been a few days now, and I'm still waiting to write a check. Ho hum.

I have no qualms satisfying your need to write a check. Should I send my address?
