Since he's criticized "advantage players" for years, it might be helpful if he used the phrase properly. If he doesn't know what the term means, then (since I'm a helpful editor, if nothing else), I will assist him in cleaning up his writing.

"Advantage player" refers to any player, playing any game, who uses whatever edges he has to flip the odds against the casino. It does not refer exclusively, or even primarily, to video poker players. I think video poker players are about the last ones on an "advantage list" that casino managers worry about.

Advantage players have played blackjack and poker. They have bet race and sports. They may play craps, if rebates or comp bonuses have shifted the odds slightly, or if dice influencing exists. They can even play bingo -- there are occasions when bingo is a positive expectation game. They play anything and everything that gives them an edge. Video poker is just one option.

So when Rob says that all AP's lose, he's using the term "APs" incorrectly unless he's saying that everyone playing every game under every available set of rules and betting every sport loses. I don't believe that is what Rob means, so I thought I would help him out and make things clear for everyone.
