We've all witnessed this: arci challenged me to have a 3rd party (Alan) examine (then post redacted copies of) BOTH of our tax returns, then he quickly hinted at how I would shy away from doing it.
While I had no knowledge that the IRS could send our returns to an identified 3rd party before this, I thought about it, then decided it would be a good idea for two reasons: first, it they would give even more support to my winning around $90k/year net directly from the machines; and secondly, because we could all see how arci spins the results of his play, which while really insignificant compared to what I've done as a pro, would embarrass the heck out of him--something deemed absolutely DEVASTATING to any geek any where.
In addition, how many times have we seen arci lie about where I actually lived in Phx.? Yes I know, you're sick of it. So I offer a side bet of $5k that he'd be left helpless and eating his words upon seeing my address on my tax returns....so what does he do? Yes, he runs and hides, then comes out with a plethora of excuses on why he won't bet. Typical liar being caught between a rock and a hard place.
Fast forward 2 days. I asked for and received Alan's mailing address yesterday, I already have his phone # which is required on the IRS request form, and I mailed it in last night. And what's arci doing? Well, when he takes his dreaded peaks at the forum, he's trying to get Alan to talk him out of doing it. Now, he's trying to make it appear the "non-disclosure agreement" is a sticking point of some kind, when I've said I don't even REQUIRE one! Why? I joust with Alan at times here, but I trust him. And arci should too. What's he afraid of--his medical deductions going public?
So stop stalling and live up to your challenge. There's no money involved (other than the filing fee) now that you can't stomach putting your money where your mouth is. Or is the nerd in you making you squirm again...
