I just want to see a sch-c, any gambling sch-c from Rob will do. Make one up if you have to.

I used to do a lot of tax returns, albeit 25 years ago, when I was low man in the firm right out of school. And I was constantly asked by friends, neighbors, clients, etc. "why can't I deduct [U]fill in the blank here.[U
Then when I would explain the law and why it wasn't legally deductible they would say "but my neighbor said he deducted it".
So you have to be careful here Alan. People take all kinds of deductions. And they are all deductible if they don't get caught. Not that many returns get audited and not that many returns are examined that closely, so a multitude of deductions can slip through that were not otherwise legally deductible or proper. So my final answer to those people was always "so deduct it--but don't blame me if you get caught. It is all how much risk you are willing to take."
I agree with regnis for the most part. Many deductions I took were only known about because my son in law gave me input. When it came to my deducting part of the grocery bill about a dozen times a year, I ran it by him first to get an opinion. I simply said I'm going to deduct $38 here and $41 there to hold on-line business chats, so I don't have to deduct $341 here and $410 there to travel for the dinner meetings. It made complete sense, it saved both myself and the Gov't. money, and I used it successfully in each of the 11 years. But had I just deducted groceries without the explanation, those deductions would have been at big risk and most likely, disallowed.
Alan, I only have time to pop in and out so forgive me if I don't read most of the posts. I saw your comment above to arci, and although I don't have the time to look at his post, I'm sure if it was offensive then it was just the pressure of him being stuck in his own mess up there and his longing to have a future - and that's what's getting under his skin. His irrelevancy, as always, will pass.
I'm calling you out BOY.....Where's that SCH-C.... BOY?
I'm very scared now Qua.
More importantly, no proof that he's extraordinarily well hung, which Rob has claimed for years. The hell with photos of royals -- we want a real money shot of Rob posing next to a tape measure. If the Wizard Forum is as he says, he'll be the most popular dude at the next get together.
I just went on Gambling Todays' website. Absolutely nothing about Rob on that site, surprise surprise. I have never seen or heard of G.T. other than from Rob but apparently they never heard of HIM either.
I can vouch for the articles. I had the GT delivered here for many years . But I am grateful thry didn't slip Rob in 1 week instead of the pin up girls.
I can more than vouch for Rob. Quite a few of his GT articles were Page One.
And, for the record, even if a writer had articles published during the internet age, a magazine or paper will often pull those articles from their public archives if a current writer is covering the same material or if the former writer is now working for a competitor. The archives of a magazine or newspaper are not the public library.
By, the way, is there some confusion about the paper/website. It's "Gaming Today" if I recall, not Gambling Today.
I was being a wise ass, although I have never seen "Gaming" Today. Gaming is a more marketable word compared to "throwing your hard eared money down a bottomless pit" or gambling.
Robbyo, Robbyo, wherefore art thou, Robbyo?
Wait a minute, maybe the reason we haven't heard from Robiebaby is because his wife......... No, I would never go there.
I thought perhaps Rob is still trying to add up all of the comps and offers he missed over ten years of playing like a pro and not scooping up all of the casino offers that the rest of us gladly take.
