I'm just a Gold player at Caesar's and they sent me about $1,000 in free play offers last month. Haven't been at a Caesar's/Harrah's property for almost 2 years.

As Gold, I received comp rooms at many Harrahs properties in Nv. for two years after not playing more than $1000 thru their machines combined during that time. I believe the longer you stay away, the more their marketing computers miss you. Sort of like me when I take time off from posting for a spell.

LMAO! That's funny. On the serious side, I experienced something like that myself on a much lower level. I told a friend about vp at the Horseshoe and he decided to visit. He lost $100 and swore he'd never come back to that place. Enter the marketing people. They sent him $85 free play for the next month and when he wouldn't do anything buy play it through, they discontinued. I've been a diamond player and the most they send is $25 every Thursday, with little snippets of $10 several other days. They then cut my buffet offers to one a month, and this month I got none. Boo-hoo.

Yes, I think I screwed up by going months without playing anything in Vegas (I did play in Laughlin, though) aside from the freeplay. Now my offers have been cut to absolute garbage.
