Thread: Hannukah In Las Vegas

While I am not Jewish, in honor of those who are I wanted to share this video that I saw over at WOV. My favorite line:
    "Moses went to the Luxor
    To shoot craps with Pharaoh
As he rolled the dice, he said real nice
    Let my people Yo!"

Some of those are "inside jokes" meaning you have to be Jewish to really understand them.

But this brings up something my son and I have thought about doing -- shooting a gag scene in a casino. But what keeps us from doing it is that we wonder if it has been done before? Here is the "treatment" for the gag film:

Two cowboys on horseback in the desert ride up to a small Indian tent with a Brave standing at the front of the tent where a fur covers the entrance. His arms are crossed. He is in full Indian dress with war paint and holds a spear.

The cowboys dismount, tie their horses to some cactus and approach the Brave. The Brave looks them over and smiles and with one arm pulls the fur aside. The cowboys step inside the tent and from outside the tent it looks like they vanished into darkness.

The camera then switches to a point of view from inside the tent with the cowboys stepping in, and the camera rapidly pulls back to show the cowboys are now in a giant, Vegas style casino with all the noise and action of a typical casino.

The cowboys walk past a craps table as a shooter throws the dice and the stickman yells out point is 4, four is the point.
Then the cowboys walk past a roulette table as the ball comes to rest in 29 and some women shriek with joy.
Then the cowboys walk past a blackjack table and as the dealer busts the players give each other high-fives.
Then the cowboys walk to a small table where four Orthodox Rabbis are spinning a dreidel, and as the dreidel lands on Gimel one Rabbi sweeps up the chips on the table.

Then one cowboy says to the other, "they always hide the buffet in the back of the joint."

    I must not be Jewish.

Did you celebrate both Alan? Also I know it's probably better in the California section but how did your Dec 1st free offers trip go?

My quickie trip to Rincon to make use of my free play offers was just "ok." No big wins to report and the $200 I won on video poker I lost playing card craps.

My crazy story from the trip was this:

First hand playing $2 Aces and Faces I was dealt QQA39 and of course I held the queens. On the draw came AAA. This is not the first time that has happened on this particular machine. In fact, it has happened several times on this same machine. It makes me wonder if my selective memory is that good?
