Good article.
I would suggest you add a paragraph about always checking your RCs (at least at Caesar's properties), as they will frequently vanish without your knowledge due to erroneous charges.
Such erroneous charges include internet/movie charges (when you were supposed to get them for free), incorrect restaurant charges, incorrect mini bar charges (this one is very common), and even occasionally erroneous room charges.
Also suggest that people keep close tabs on their RCs, both what they had at the start of sessions and how many they earned in the present session (sometimes the display on the screen is incorrect, and takes up to 24 hours to process).
In the case of Total Rewards, you can e-mail them and ask for a list of all redemptions during a specific period of time.
If I didn't do all of the above, I would have lost hundreds of dollars of RCs by now to these bogus charges.

Good points, Dan. Thanks.
One more that I just remembered: check for expiration dates of comps because of non-use of your player's club card.
