On our "Home / Business Security" page we have a new video and article about Swann Communications which manufactures and sells to the public security and surveillance equipment including what I call "spy pens" which record audio and video in a device that is concealed inside what looks like a regular ballpoint pen. It's a real working pen and actually comes with ink refills. You could use it for legal uses such as taking notes or snapping photos of this or that. Or you could make verbal notes for yourself for later. Those are some of the legal things you can do with it. Well, the pen has two hours of recording time -- audio and video -- and you can do some things with it that might be illegal. Well, you can do some things that would definitely be illegal such as record a conversation without the other party being told about it. So, if you had one of these "spy pens" how would you use it? And would you use it to spy?
