Has anyone ever been to the Barona Resort & Casino? Rincon is sold out for Saturday night and even being 7 Stars I can't get a room with more than 48 hours advanced notice. Guess I should call my host.

Barona is about 45 minutes from Rincon. I saw the following on Barona's website.
"Certified loosest video poker in San Diego by renowned expert Bob Dancer"

I don't know where you live but Barona is difficult to get to if you live in LA or Orange County. I have heard good things about it, but have not been there.

Regarding loose slots: Pechanga still has full pay games including Jacks, double double bonus, bonus. I am not sure about the deuces games since I don't play it.

I am sure the Bob Dancer "endorsement" was one of his marketing deals. When I was once at the Fiesta in North Las Vegas they had "Bob Dancer certified" signs on their 9/6 Jacks or Better machines.

It takes us about an hour and 10 minutes to get to Rincon. Barona is an additional 45 minute drive from Rincon and that's going the back way probably through the mountains. It could be a 2 hour drive for us. Hubby says might as well go to Vegas. It's only an hour and a half longer.

    Exactly what I was thinking.

And you won't have any trouble getting a room, and there are plenty of offers in Vegas for a 7 Stars player and I am sure they will book you on the offers with short notice.

About three months ago I was already in the car driving to Vegas and I called the hosts office at Caesars late at night and not only booked my room, but was included on a free play offer. And it wasn't a host I did business with before.

And on my last trip I was at the 7 Stars/Diamond check in when a player shows up and says "I don't have a reservation." And while I was being checked in, the clerk was calling the hosts' office and got this other player cleared for a room and the offer I was showing up for.

Have you ever called another casino not affiliated with Caesars Entertainment and used your 7 star status to get a room comped?

You might want to try the LAZY H RANCH MOTEL. It's about a mile and a half from Rincon. Quaint rooms be it for only one night. Rates should be no more than $100 even on the weekends.

Thanks Dante. I have seen the Lazy H. Looks like an interesting place. I think they do wedding receptions there as well. Call me cheap but I don't like to spend money on a room when I am supposed to be comped for having 7 stars status as long as I give 48 hours notice.
