When you say you couldn't find them... does that mean you knew where they were before and they are no longer in that location? There are only two of them. Rincon frequently shuffles machines around. Over the last two or three years my favorite machine has been in at least four different places in the casino.

Yes, they were near the cash machine in the new poker room. I hunted for them in both the non smoking and smoking sections and could not find them.

Our forum member ke6cdh (John) called me to say they were moved into the high limit room where they can be serviced more quickly when there are handpays. John tells me that one particular player comes in and plays multiple lines at the highest denominations and gets frequent handpays. Handpay service is faster in the high limit area.

They were moved into the high limit slot area.

Question: did the denominations change, or the paytables change, when they were moved to high limits?

edited to add: When the two DreamCard machines were originally installed they went up to $5/coin and with ten lines this game needed an almost full time floor person to issue W2Gs. Then the denominations were lowered and the last time I played the top denomination was $1 and still a maximum of ten lines.

I was told they lowered the denominations because of "too much winning."

This happened even before Rincon removed the $100 VP games.

I played the Dream Card machine about 2 weeks ago when it was still in the poker room. The same weekend I saw a man get a hand pay for hitting a Royal on $1 denomination playing 10 hands. At that time it was 25 cents, 50 cents and $1 playing either 3, 5 or 10 hands. Not sure if it's been lowered since they moved it but I will check this weekend.

I was there this past weekend. I played on these machines. They are 25, 50 cent and 1 dollar.
I was lucky and hit a $1 Royal on one line for $4,000. A nice lady next to me for a while was playing
All ten hands at the dollar level ($100 per pull), but she left while I was being paid.

    Hi Nash,

Thanks for the update on Rincon. I enjoy playing at Rincon and go there quite frequently. Sadly I have nothing to post however, I will be at Rincon this Friday. Maybe if you're there we could hook up and share opinions. I enjoy what you and Alan write about. Have a great week!

Thanks for your message. We will be heading to Rincon on Friday late afternoon for the early bird round of the 50k Millionaire Maker Slot Tournament and would be happy to meet up with you. Look for us in the poker room.

Nash you should differentiate between the "poker room" and the "video poker" area.

I also suggest that forum members trying to hook up in the casino wear tin foil hats for easy identification.

Im on my way to Rincon now. I have a room tonight. However, I left my foil hat at home

Just got off the phone with a Rincon player who told me that yesterday the Dream Card machines were ice cold and those who played them (there are two machines) took a bath. I think it's important to post this so people don't think these machines operate as ATMs and simply spit out winners.
