Thread: 2014 7 Stars Experiences

  1. #1
the 2014 7 Stars experiences have not been "released" or "published" yet, so don't try to redeem them. You can still redeem the 2013 experiences that you are entitled to and these must be redeemed before April 1st.

I tried to redeem a 2014 "experience" but when I called my host I was told I had to wait.

This also raises the possibility that the "experiences" will not be the same in 2014 as they were in 2013.

Yeah, it's ridiculous. March 7th, and still no info for the 2014 Seven Stars program (even though we're supposed to be earning our way toward it already).

Personally, I think it's more Caesar's incompetence rather than any nefarious plot to delay a reduction in benefits.

They will probably roll out the same tired program with the $1200 airfare/$500 food annual trip, the lame "welcome gift", a few signature experiences, the enhanced experiences when you reach further tier point milestones, the $500 annual dinner, free rooms with 48 hours notice, and their continued cruise partnership with Norwegian.

Gee... I'd be happy just getting my $500 shopping at the Forum Shops again.

Don't complain when I say I told you so. You people get so wrapped up in card status, reward points, and what the "freebies" are that you continually lose sight of why you gamble at CET in the first place: to win MONEY. You guys act like slot club fluff is the end all, I'm sure your hands sweat profusely each day as you rush out to get the mail--then you constantly moan & groan over what they're giving you, as if it's like adding insult to injury.

FOCUS! This stuff should not matter one bit to you. Take whatever they give you, be happy with it whether they reduce things or not, and always remind yourself that winning is the name of the game, and winning is the one thing that renders all this other baloney from them irrelevant. Some of it is nice, yesiree, but don't allow it to take over what you go into the casinos to do.

Does anyone know if I can still redeem my 2013 7 stars trip even if it's not booked 30 days in advance?

Yes, you should be able to book it without any problem. But do it now, before the end of March.

Rob -- it does matter. It's cash in our pockets. It's cash in our pockets over and above what we might win when gambling. You are not required to lose to be a 7 Stars player. You are not required to lose to get gifts at the Great Gift Wrap Up. You are not required to lose to get shopping sprees or $500 dinners or free trips. You are not required to lose to get three or four thousand dollars a month in free play.

Get over it, already. You blew thousands and thousands of dollars by thinking you were outsmarting the casinos by not using a players card over all those years.

Why don't you follow your own advice Alan and ignore Rob? Practice what you preach buddy because your forum (at least the Vegas part) is 98% bull***** 2% relevant material.

Vegas_lover, your comments are starting to be irrelevant as well. It seems the only comments you have to make here are those to attack Rob... or me.

If that's the case Alan, I blend in fine. You're starting to get annoyed again because I'm critical of you. You have a short fuse for that, I already knew that. Rob has been attacking me and everybody else since day one and you don't give a crap. Your best response to all of Rob's insults is "folks just ignore him" but tadaaaaa as soon as he insults you, you always feel the need to respond. Congratulations Alan, you're human.

Don't tell us to ignore Rob when you don't do it yourself. Yeez you never learn. You think I'm giving you a hard time? I can't even walk in Rob's shadow in that department.

I've tried to bring new discussions to this board before. Threads about Vegas that were not VP-related. Guess what? They got hyjacked by your resident forum nut job within 3 posts so I gave up. So as long as you allow Rob to derail every discussion that goes on here, I'll continue to ridicule Rob as much as possible, just for fun.

Hmmm....how can someone with such a jealous streak and who can only afford to get out of his foxhole to gamble once a year, have anything relevant at all about gambling to contribute....and it certainly shows.

It appears your head's been twirling round & & round with the nearest, archaic, windmill.

I agree and don't ever disagree that it definitely is cash in pockets. I like the comps and freebies too. I've even just received my first 7-Stars card ever, even though I had no idea and really don't care what I am. All it means to me is maybe we'll get another free flight to other parts of the country--or two.

My beef with this stuff is well known. You guys write about it as if your gambling lives depended on it. I focus only on winning--which as you've all seen, I'm a true expert at. My only concern is if CET derails me before I can get another free trip out of them.

You see Alan, it's post like these that keep this nonsense going. And as long as you don't do anything to stop this I'll be poking Rob on a daily basis and I'll keep confronting you with the fact that you constantly expect everybody to ignore this kind of behavior while you don't when the insults are directed at you.

But I LIKE it VL! Anything that disrupts your sleep, makes you drink more, and keeps me inside your head even while trying your darndest to "poke" the missus, is pure music to my ears.

    Alan,

If you were able to work the bonus tier points to your advantage, how much play or coin-in would be required to obtain 7 stars playing Video Poker only? It's only March 7. Does the earning period begin on January 1?

Rob either lied about his minimal amount of play or is lying now about obtaining his 7 stars card. Unless of course Rob makes up another lie and says that a host at a casino where he played for 10 minutes was so impressed with his play, that they decided to bestow 7 stars status upon him for free!

  16. #16
Yes, the "earning period" for 7 Stars started on January 1st. It takes 150,000 tier points (earned points or bonus points) to be 7 Stars.

If a video poker player puts on 5,000 tier points ($50,000 coin in) in a 24 hour period, they would receive a "bonus" of 10,000 tier points. So with $50,000 coin-in in one day a player could earn 15,000 tier points. Additional play would not earn "bonus points" but would earn additional regular tier points.

In 10 days of $50,000 coin-in per day a video poker player could have a 7 Stars card.

If a player played $25 video poker -- $125 per hand with five coins in -- they would reach $50,000 coin in with 400 hands. If a player plays 10 hands per minute (considered slow for an "expert player") they would play 600 hands per hour. So in less than an hour a $25 player could become 7 Stars in ten days (or visits).

Coin-in would be $500,000 and if the player was at a game returning 99.17% the "cost" of 7 Stars would be $4,150.
If the player was at a game returning 99.54% the "cost" would be $2,300.

If my math is wrong, please correct me. I'm really not good at this stuff.

Rob easily could have made 7 Stars in fewer than ten days playing $25 video poker for two hours per day. Consider:

Playing 600 hands per hour for two hours he would have $75,000 of coin-in in one day which would earn him 7,500 base tier points, plus 10,000 bonus tier points for a total of 17,500 total tier points. And at that rate he would be 7 Stars in less than 9 days.

With 4-hour sessions (four hours of play per day) at $25 he would have 2400 hands at $125 per hand or $300,000 of coin-in which would earn 30,000 regular tier points plus 10,000 bonus tier points for a total of 40,000 tier points. And at that level he would be 7 Stars in less than 4 days of play.

Thanks Alan. The thing is, hasn't he said that's his top denomination, that he works up to? It seems to me he would have had very few credits left to play $25 x 5 per hand to play an hour or so. Doesn't he say most of his play is at the lower levels?

I trust your math Alan, but Rob has denied playing anywhere near even that minimal amount.

  18. #18
I am more inclined to believe that Rob has earned 7 Stars... and that he has played a lot more than he has been telling us. And that has been my point all along. I think he hits his big winners just as anyone who played a lot would hit big winners with the frequency Rob has.

Now, I can't wait till Rob starts tooting his horn about all the benefits he enjoys as a 7 Stars player! Won't that be an about face? LOL

I do expect to get the perks Alan but I'm not really in a position to cash in on many of them unless there's something lucrative somewhere close or where they offer a free flight for two to. I won't regularly be playing at a CET property either. Today, for instance, I chose to go to Reno. My next play probably won't be for a few weeks since we have a busy schedule coming up.

Nice to see eddie finally come out of hiding, as he waited and waited to come up with another useless theory about me. But it was fun watching him fall flat on his face again, so I'm struggling over if I will miss his jealousy when he jumps off the nearest bridge

Rob, no one is jealous or envious of the lies you post here. As far as "coming out of hiding", I don't even know what you mean by that. I do know however that since the forum went down on March 5 then back up on the 6th, you have posted the most of anyone, including Alan.

It must have really been lonely in that trailer huh, Rob?
