Thread: M Casino offers new video poker progressive games.

We just added an article with photos about the new video poker progressives at the M Casino in Las Vegas. Actually, the casino and hotel resort is in the Vegas suburb of Henderson but it is visible as you drive north on the I-15. It is located at the far (very far) south end of Las Vegas Boulevard. There are pros and cons for playing these video poker progressives. So before you play read what I found out. And when you do decide to play these games to go for a really big win, note how you should adjust your strategy for playing video poker. Of course, if you have a comment about our article and our observations, or if you have comments of your own, please write them here.

While the M resort remains a favorite of mine and has plenty of good video poker, these new machines were put in at the urging of Bob Dancer (who else?) and will be money-makers for the casino. I personally would like to see Dancer making money the way he claims to: Playing video poker! and not by selling ideas like this to such decent properties. But....one has to make money somehow.

With the worst paytables for the included 8 games I have seen, who in their right mind would play them until the royals were at least 2-1/2 times normal? Further, who would ever know all 8 games perfectly enough with moving target royal flushes? These games are nothing more than addict pot-shots for huge royals that you probably won't hit no matter how long you play them anyway. Too many seats, too crappy a paytable. No wonder so few of their 35 seats are filled, even on weekends.
