Thread: Diamond Aspirations / Seven Stars Renewal

  1. #1
This year there are only 2 Diamond Aspirations levels. The first is at 40,000, where you get the $100 dinner and the ride on the High Roller at the LINQ.

The second is at 80,000, where you get the $750 airfare credit and the New Year's Eve party invite.

When you make 150,000 for Seven Stars, it appears that you do not get a second retreat, as you did in 2013. This is disappointing, as I actually used both trips for 2013.

This is yet another reason to only renew Seven Stars every other year (before April 1) if you aren't going to be playing anyway.

Question about the $100 dinner: Can you use it in addition to any other promotion? For example, can I show up at Caesars or Rincon and go to Total Rewards and just get the $100 voucher as I did last year? Or must I book a trip with the $100 dinner included?

Frankly I never used the "retreats" because there was no free play or gift involved. I only went when there was free play or some sort of promotional offer such as gift cards or shopping.

    Sorry, I wasn't clear.

    There are two $100 dinners.

The first comes at 15,000 tiers when you make Diamond, and that's the voucher.

The second comes at 40,000 tiers, and you need to book a room (and thus can't combine it with any other offer). You get the $100 as a folio credit. This also sucks because it means the tax doesn't fall off, as it does with the voucher.

About the tax: doesn't the Seven Stars discount offset the tax at some casinos?

Your gaming markets may be different, but in the AC market, the $500 annual dinner can now be printed out as a voucher from a special kiosk when you are ready to use it starting April 1. No more booking through your host.

And the kiosk has two confirmation screens so people don't print out a voucher "on accident" and waste the slip. Good job CET.

Maybe, but you would get that discount anyway even if you had a voucher.

So, if you are Seven Star going into 2014, do you also get the $100 dinner, the $750 airfare credit and the New Year's Eve party invite when you hit 80,000 this year? If so, exactly how do you do it? Thanks.

Yes, you do, though I think you get the NYE party regardless. You will be invited and don't need to take any action to get it.

The first $100 dinner, if it's like last year, requires just a trip to the TR desk. I am guessing the same applies to the High Roller Ferris wheel tickets.

The $750 air credit and the second $100 dinner require a host's assistance.

Dan, I found on the website the $100 folio credit with a hotel stay at 40,000 tier points. Where does it say you get a $100 dining voucher after 15,000 points? This is all I see:

ASPIRATION Level 1: 40,000 Tier Credits
On top of any offers or comps you receive based on your play, unlock a complimentary four-night stay at any Total Rewards destination plus $100 folio credit. Also, you and a friend can take a ride on the High Roller Experience at The LINQ in Las Vegas.

If you look at the "checklist" of benefits for the various levels, you will see that "$100" is listed for Celebration Dinner under Diamond.

This checklist is supposed to show your base benefits for each level -- not anything you earn additional through Aspiriations or Seven Stars Experiences.

So either the website is wrong and is accidentally promoting the same Aspirations $100 as a standard diamond benefit, or there are two of them.

I am assuming the first one is just a regular $100 voucher, since it's called "Celebration Dinner", and the $500 one for Seven Stars is also called that and is a voucher.

I asked one of our Forum members who is going to a TR casino today to ask the TR desk if indeed there is still a $100 celebration dinner different from the one that requires the hotel stay. I will let you know what he says if he doesn't post it himself.

I'm going to try and get the $100.00 voucher (15,000 tc) this weekend at Total Rewards at Planet Hollywood.

Nash, please report back. I am sorry that I didnt check myself when I was at the Rio.

John is at Rincon and confirms you get the $100 Celebration Dinner with 15K tier points.

Good to know my assumption was confirmed.

I don't blame people for being confused here. As usual, Caesar's communicated their TR benefits very poorly.

Unless they changed it, I think they're wrong. Ask for a supervisor next time.

Definitely this wasn't the case in 2013.

I will call Total Rewards when I get home.

This really sucks because if someone was 7 Stars last year
and only gets 80,000 TC this year they get nothing.

Why wait till you get home? I'd want to get the correct info immediately.
