On my last visit to Rincon, I was very careful to play my "free play" until the first "point" registered on the video poker machine meter. My thought was that as soon as "one credit" (tier point) showed, I had gone through my free play and now I was playing with "real money." My goal was only to play through the "free play."

However, the following happened:

1. I had a total of $965 of free play. $500 came from actual "free play" and $465 came from cashing in "reward credits" as "free play."

2. When I started my "free play" my "sessions points" read as ZERO, which is what it should have read.

3. I stopped my free play when 3 (three) tier points showed on the meter. (I would have stopped at 1 but there was an obvious delay in the posting of the tier points.)

4. I took a 45-minute "break" in the casino to talk to a friend before leaving, and out of curiosity when I checked my "card" again I noticed I had 55 tier points showing, which was the equivalent of $550 of video poker coin-in ($10 coin in = 1 tier point).

What happened? Does Rincon now award some tier points for free play?

(by the way, I cashed out exactly $965 which was equal to the $-value of the free play. No quads.)
