Hi everyone. This is my first post so please excuse any faux pas I might make. I live in San Diego county so Rincon is my primary casino but I go to Vegas four or five times a year. I have been reading these forums for a while and decided to share a recent experience. I was in Vegas this past Thursday and was planning to go to dinner with a friend so I thought I would try to use my Diamond Aspirations $100 food credit. I went to the Total Rewards desk in Paris and was told that they no longer give that offer to 7-stars. In other words, you get either the Aspirations credit or the 7-stars credit, but not both if you are a 7-stars. I started to question her but she rolled her eyes and gave me a look. So I left without the credit. After I walked away, i realized that I am a 7-stars from last year but technically have only reached Diamond Aspirations level this calendar year. So I would think I would be entitled to it. Since she was not friendly I elected not to go back and ask her again. If I had the time I would have gone back when someone else was at the desk to see what they had to say about it. So, I guess an Aspiration level player would have to wait until January to get the credit in case they make 7-stars before then, in which case they are not entitled to it.
Thought I would share this info with you all as I found it interesting.
