Anyone know the personal check cashing policies in Vegas? I'll be at the NYNY hotel for the first few days.
I think they vary with each hotel/casino depending if you're a guest or have a credit line. I would call first. Also check with your bank about "friendly" ATMs that won't cost you $4 - $6 to use.
The hotel policies for check cashing should be fairly similar to che k cashing at other large hotels in other cities. If you're a guest, it's probably a one time courtesy for up to $500. Of course, if you make the mistake of taking out a credit line, you'll have access to much more on your next visit.
