Thread: Apparently the Shell station at Harrah's Rincon doesn't take FRN

    You read that right.

Caesar's loves to push the Fuel Rewards Network (and in fact attaches the "Gas for a Year" Seven Stars experience to it), yet you can't use FRN at the Shell station located at the Rincon itself.

    Pretty shameful.

Imagine someone gets that awful "Gas for a Year" thing, and in addition to the misleading (and poorly informed employees) nature of the whole thing, the person can't even get the free gas at the casino where they earned it.

You are correct Dan and this has been discussed before. In fact, the closest Shell station to Rincon that accepts the Fuel Rewards Network discounts is about 50 miles away from Rincon.
In Vegas I used the FRN discount, and at the Shell station by the Gold Strike at Jean (on the 15) I also used the FRN card.

I live in Murrieta. They keep sending me info telling me I have these fuel rewards. I called the number on the card because I could never get my card to work. They told me the closest "participant" was in Anaheim 50 miles away.

Even here in the LA area not all Shell stations accept the FRN. I think all of them are tied into the discounts with the Ralph supermarkets.

But even if you go to a non-FRN Shell station, use the debit/credit card that you have registered with the FRN because you earn discounts that way.

By the way, there is a Forum member who regularly pays 1-cent per gallon because he gets discounts from other purchases with cards registered on the FRN. I won't reveal his name but I hope he will tell us how he does it.

I didn't realize you were so close to the casinos. Why play at Rincon when Pechanga has better video poker, including 9/6 Jacks which is what you want to play? And you'll save gas, too.

Thanks for that info Alan. I'll try Pechanga. But I love Rincon. c:
