It's always nice to meet one of our Forum members and during the day Monday I met forum member Chimp at Rincon. Chimp is the better looking one in the photo below.

But since this is a casino forum, should I tell you the story about how I got free rooms for wife #1 and the kids at Caesars while wife #3 and I stayed at Bellagio during the same weekend, and then we all played craps together at Caesars? Oh, and the dealers were asking what happened to wife #2.

Why? About a year ago my husband went to his high school reunion on the east coast and hooked up with a classmate that he always had a thing for. Last January I accidentally found out that they had been having an affair and meeting up in Vegas, Palm Springs, and maybe other places. I don't know all the details. I never asked.
So, after nearly 30 years together (27 married), he said he wanted a divorce to be with his girlfriend.

So, that's the story.

That's quite a sad story, especially due to the time you were together. Two questions, though you don't have to answer if you don't want to:

1) If he hadn't wanted a divorce, would you have wanted one anyway due to the cheating?

2) How did he manage to take so many solo trips without you becoming suspicious? Or was he disguising them as business trips?

Your story is a little unusual because when men over 50 have affairs, they tend to do so with younger women. Here he did it with someone his own age.

In any case, you're better off without him. Pretty cold to just get up and leave your wife of 27 years just for some stupid high school crush from the early '80s.
