Thread: Vegas Signature Experience Weekend (Oct 23-26)

  1. #1
Just read this over vegas message board, all the more reason to go to this event:

    Hey all,

Got some wonderful last-minute public info to spread. We had a marketing meeting last week and management is approving us to stack up some offers for the 7-Star signature experience coming up October 23-26.

They are going to let us stack the annual trip airfare (if not already redeemed), plus entrance to the 7 Star signature event weekend, and add to the free play offer for those that attend the experience event (if not already redeemed).

We can also stack the monthly free play offer (if not already redeemed) to the signature experience if you have already taken your annual trip or you want to save it for later, or you are coming from Cali or Arizona or wherever.

The signature event comes with free play, so you have the opportunity to get that free play and the monthly booster offer free play.

They rarely do this. Seven Stars only. Great opportunity. Hit me up for details. Just trying to get the word out since it is just a couple weeks away.

I'll be attending the event. Booked it as "event only/non-lodging" over the phone after first booking my Seven Stars trip and got confirmation codes for the weekend events at Brooklyn Bowl/Linq, Giada, Bally's $100K drawing, etc.

However, a poster over at the HarrahsCasinos group posted

Several people have complained to me re this upcoming event. Apparently Caesars has totally changed the event from what they originally announced. If you are booked for this you may want to double check on what will be happening so u are not surprised.
Wonder what this is all about.

I didn't know the signature event comes with free play. How much is it?

I also got an invitation to the signature event but saw NOTHING about free play.

Nash: I am sure the amount of free play varies based on your gaming level. My experience has been that when other "events" also include free play that the free play component is a fraction of what a full "free play" event might be.

Here's an example of what I am talking about if you normally get $1,000 offers:

Dinner + free play event would include $500 free play.
Free play only event would include $1,000 free play.

    Here is a question:

Can I just make a regular Seven Stars booking of 4 nights, and then do this as a non-lodger on top of it?

I tried a few months ago and they refused, but this post above implies they are allowing this now.

The reason I want to do this is because the signature event doesn't allow me to book Caesar's -- only Rio and their other low tier properties.

Oct 23 - 26: Seven Stars Signature Event!!! Seven Stars guest will receive, a gift, Casino Play, a Crawl at The LINQ, reception at Brooklyn Bowl, reception at the Wheel House at The High Roller, two tickets to show of choice (Shania Twain, Britney Spears, Veronic Voices, or Jubilee!) and Seven Star brunch at Giada’s.

    EVENT OFFER:
    1. Seven Star registration
    2. Seven Star Gift
    3. Casino Play
    4. Welcome to the Linq Crawl
    5. Reception at Brooklyn Bowl
    6. Reception at the Wheel House at The High Roller
    7. Two tickets to ride the High Roller Observation Wheel
    8. Two tickets to show of choice
    9. Seven Star Brunch at our new celebrity chef’s restaurant Giada’s at The Cromwell
    10.Four (4) night’s hotel accommodations

Above is the info I received from my host a few months back regarding the event.
It wasn't appealing to me then because I had planned for the Great Gift Wrap trip to be the only trip to Vegas for the remainder of the year. Also, the event was being considered as an "offer" and Caesars doesn't allow multiple offers to be redeemed at the same time. So, it was either selecting the monthly free play OR this 7Stars event. And Alan is 100% correct that the free play offer as a component piece in this event package is less than our regular monthly free play offer. For example, if my monthly free play offer is at $1K, the casino play offered in this event would only be $800 (+ the gift, brunch, shows, etc). At higher play level, for instance, monthly free play at $5K, the attached free play piece of this event is only $3.5K, clearly disadvantageous in choosing this event over the monthly free play booster.

That was then and I definitely saw no benefits attending this event. But now that Caesars has allowed to stack/combine offers, then I think it's definitely worthwhile to go. Below is the breakdown of this "combined" offer that I redeemed for this event/weekend:

    Airfare: $1200
    Folio Credit: $500
    Annual Dinner: $500
    Monthly Free Play (hypothetical): $1000
7Stars Signature Event Package: $800 + other pieces of event such as mystery gift, shows, brunch, etc...
Other perks: perhaps another $2000-$3000 in other comps such as fancy dinner at Guy Savoy or whatever else my heart desires within reason ie. no Rolexes.

All in all, I'll be enjoying the weekend 10/24-10/26 at Caesars Palace.

    ------

nerakil: My host handles all bookings for me. I have no intention to follow through the agenda of this event. To me, the double-up in free play is worthwhile to be there.

Nash: Alan is 100% right. So as my host explained, if your criteria is at $1K monthly free play, you'll receive $800 for this event plus others things like the mystery gift, shows, etc...

Dan: I assume it would be okay'ed to call and book that non-lodging status as nerakil mentioned since it's approved city-wide by the management. You could also contact Hunter the host (I know I know how you feel about hosts). Hunter isn't my host but he seems like a fair and genuine guy, someone who is transparent in providing answers to expectations and deliveries on both sides (the house vs the player). If I didn't have a fantastic working relationship with my current host, I'd definitely consider contacting him. But Dan, thanks for sharing your knowledge and experiences of the Total Rewards system, very entertaining reads indeed.

Hope all will have a wonderful time there that weekend in Vegas and most importantly, be very very lucky!!!

    Swanky,

So the free play they are giving you for this signature event is basically based on your play in the Vegas market like your regular monthly free play is. Right?

Nash - from the info provided to me, any 7Stars member who signs up for the event/experience package is offered free play as one of many items in this package. You are correct that the amount of free play offered in this package is actually based on your play/worth in the Vegas market. The lowest ranked/minimum free play offered is at $100 to any 7Stars who attends this event. Have you booked this event and/or discuss with your host about the stacking of offers? That is icing on the cake if you originally wanted to go for this event even without multiple offers combined.

Late this afternoon I received an email telling me about the revised offer. I get $500 free play. I can combine with a $900 free play offer.
