Thread: Changes at Caesars Palace coming

  1. #1
    From Seven Stars Insider:

    - Caesars Palace has switched out the bedding in its Augustus and Octavius Towers. The double sheeting, as well as the combination of duvets and coverlets, has been replaced by triple-sheeting. Guest comments have been favorable, according to management.

    - While they’re still available in the suites, guest robes have been removed from all other rooms. Apparently, a vast majority of the robes went unused for an extended period of time. Seven Stars cardholders not staying in suites can request robes by contacting Guest Services.

    - Starting next month, guests will be able to claim any offers they’ve qualified for at a distribution location near the Seven Stars/Diamond registration desk in the Augustus Tower.

    - The new Forum Food Court – which is replacing the Cypress Street Marketplace – will open December 23. Look for Smashburger, Earl of Sandwich, Philip’s Seafood, Graeter’s Ice-cream, an exciting new Mexican and Asian concept, as well as a pizza brand that has yet to be announced.

    - The newest home of Mr Chow – with locations in Beverly Hills, Malibu, New York, Miami and London – will be the space formerly occupied by Empress Court. The restaurant is expected to open this spring.

    - “Top Chef” alum Brian Malarkey will bring his New American Classic cuisine and social dining atmosphere to Las Vegas when Searsucker opens this spring in the location formerly occupied by Munchbar. To be open nightly for dinner, Searsucker will introduce Malarkey’s contemporary spin on American classic comfort foods, set in a laid-back atmosphere. The menu will be anchored by a 38 oz. bone-in rib eye “tomahawk”, eggs + bacon “pork belly” featuring a soft poached egg with brown butter hollandaise, as well as the beer-braised short rib + horseradish + fried onions with pan sauce and butter potato. Signature sides such as jalapeño-chorizo “corn off the cob” and fried Brussels sprouts + walnuts with anchovy red wine jalapeño vinaigrette will round out the bill of fare. Other locations already open are in San Diego and Del Mar, Calif., and Austin, Tex.
    Mostly positive changes.

They really need a 24-hour cafe where you can use food comps/credits.

Glad to see they are finally replacing that awful Cypress Street Marketplace with some real fast food restaurants. Before it was all in-house brands, and it was both overpriced and lousy.

Are you sure the Forum eateries will accept comps and coupons?
