I don't know what the policy is at your casino. At Caesars a tier score of 335,000 is "small potatoes." At Rincon a tier score of 335,000 isn't very big either. I'm not saying this to insult you -- just to let you know that even if you are in the top 10 there is a limit as to how much a casino will shell out.

Just a quick story: a couple of years ago the best steakhouse at Caesars Palace was Nero's. I had a reservation with my wife and even though I was 7 Stars with close to a million tier points, I had to have a reservation and I waited for my table. As we were waiting by the hostess stand a young guy pushes through the crowd to reach the hostess stand and he says "I'm a 7 Stars, table for two please."

Hostess: Do you have a reservation?
    Guy: No I don't. I'm a 7 Stars player.
Hostess: I'm sorry, you need a reservation.
Guy: What are you talking about? I'm a 7 Stars.
Hostess: I'm sorry, we don't have a table available.

So the guy looks at me and says "in Atlantic City this would never happen," and he holds up his 7 Stars Card.

So I reach into my shirt pocket and I pull out my 7 Stars Card. And I say "this is Caesars Palace. Look around. Just about everyone here is a 7 Stars."

And the reality is, at a casino likes Caesars or even at Rincon there are lots of 7 Stars players. I've been told that Rincon in San Diego has the highest percentage of players who are 7 Stars of any casino.

Now, getting back to your problem. Perhaps you are overcomped? Or, perhaps this host is just a jerk? I think Dan's advice is spot-on: go to the highest level boss you can find and state your case.

I don't think he's overcomped. His host abruptly went from giving him tons of discretionary comps to giving him nothing, right at the moment that cantbeatluck offended him. I think the writing is on the wall as to what happened here.

I agree it's funny when people don't realize how many 7 Stars there are at Caesars Palace, and somehow believe they have a status above everyone else.

With that said, being a Seven Stars does entitle you to certain unspecified perks, such as getting silly rules over minor things waived. But I agree that it's laughable when someone thinks their 7 Stars card entitles them to get service ahead of everyone else in the joint.
