Thread: Red Rock high limit slots

  1. #1
A friend sent me a photo of the set up of the high limit slots at the Red Rock Casino in Summerlin. He says "tissue holders, cup holders, and even USB ports to plug in chargers for cell phone!" And sent me photos. I am guessing this is not only convenient, but provides more room and keeps you from spilling drinks on keys and screens. Well done!

It looks like there's even a complimentary stack of $100's and $10's to help each player get started on their sessions as well. Excellent! Will have to check this out.

LOL Count! I was thinking the same thing!
And the cup holders is great. Last time I was in Vegas I was all excited to get on a particular machine and within five minutes I spilled my beer on it and the technicians couldn't fix it and they shut it down!

I don't know about the tissue holders. Looks like they are encouraging sick people to play their machines.

    That, or chronic masturbators.

Either way, I don't want to be the next one touching those buttons.

Dan: I agree with you on this one. I think it would have been better to have containers of moistened antibacterial hand sanitizer packs instead of tissue holders. I'm referring to those little foil packets that contain moistened baby wipes to help visualize what I mean.

Umm... you can't blow your nose or sneeze or cough into a wrapped hand sanitizer. I love that the tissues are there.

Most of the nice casinos I've frequented have the tissue slots in the restrooms, which was adequate for me.

The point is Red Rock did something extra.

I prefer bar-top VP for some of the same conveniences, minus those pesky good paytables found in the high-limit rooms, but that looks like a nice set-up to me compared to what I've seen...so kudos to Red Rock.

Dan...chronic masturbators?...WTF?...is that what you think of when you see tissues? Yikes.

I may get rid of the Kleenex box on my desk lest I be deemed a chronic masturbator. By the way, just for informational purposes, at what point does it become chronic?

Just for the record: I thought the tissues are there to wipe off the lipstick after you kiss the cocktail waitress.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I am most impressed by the USB ports.

I'm still waiting for a tissue.

I am not sure you are joking but the Universal Serial Bus (USB) port are standardized electrical connectors to power or connect devices such as a cell phone. You can see the USB ports between the ash trays and cup holders in the photo on top -- all of which are below the tissues.

I've heard about poker rooms that now have cell phone charging stations for players. Also USB ports at tables.
