I was playing video poker (5-play $1/credit 16-10 Deuces Wild Video Poker, which has a 99.74% return), and there were two women in their early 50s sitting a few machines away. They looked like sisters.

Anyway, things were quiet for awhile, but suddenly the sister who wasn't playing started freaking out.

"It's not here. It's not fucking in here!", she said in a voice that was inappropriately loud for a public setting. She was gesturing to her purse.

The other one told her to look again, and the first one snapped, "I told you it's not fucking in here. It's not fucking in here. It is not in fucking here!"

The second sister tried to calm her down, but things just got worse.

"Fuck! Fuck! It's not fucking in here. It's not fucking in here!! It's not fucking in here!"

She must have screamed "It's not fucking in here" about 20 times in about 2 minutes.

Amazingly, security did not approach them. It was tilting for me to play this way, and unlike Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild games require some degree of concentration.

I decided to let this cool down on its own, rather than start a confrontation.

But it worsened.

"It's... not... fucking... in... here!!!!", she continued, slamming her purse repeatedly against the video poker machine, making a loud banging sound.

She continued with this, banging her purse, cursing the same thing over and over, and I was seconds away from telling her to STFU or GTFO.

Right then, a security guard arrived, though he didn't see her banging her purse on the machine.

He asked what was wrong. The calm sister told him that they lost their keys, and were just attempting to look for them. He told them that they have to be quieter, and she replied, "Oh, I'm sorry, we are just trying to find our keys. Nothing's wrong over here."

At this point I decided to speak up. Something was very wrong, and this crap was going to continue once the security guard left.

I told the guard exactly what had been happening. Another woman, who was playing on the other side of the sisters, finally piped up, and said, "I totally agree. I can't play like this. She's crazy. I've been shaking the whole time."

The calm sister kept trying to lie and claim we were exaggerating, but I wasn't having any of it, and kept repeating that she was cursing loudly and banging on the machines.

The guard told them that they had to be quiet, or they would have to leave the property. He then walked off. A few seconds later, the calm sister said, "I'll be right back", and also walked off.

The crazy one started staring at me with a psychotic look in her eyes. She was clearly pissed that I ratted her out, and I was wondering what she would do. I honestly wasn't sure if she was going to start attacking me, such as hitting me with her purse. I was watching out of the corner of my eye and was ready to throw an elbow in her face if she attempted to physically attack me.

Instead, she watched me play a hand of video poker, and I bricked it with no payout. She then started chanting, "Lose! Lose! Lose! Lose!"

Obviously this wasn't going to stand, so I called the security guard back over and told him what was happening. Right then, her sister returned, and he told them both that they would have to go elsewhere in the casino, and they were no longer allowed to play on this bank of machines.

Was it over?

Nope!

About 15 minutes later, they showed back up, and the calm sister said, "I think I want to play THIS machine", and sat right next to me. The crazy sister sat on the other side of her.

The crazy one then thought she was clever, saying out loud, "Well, I hope we don't Lose-Lose-Lose at this machine! Lose!"

I stood up and looked for security, and they were nowhere to be found.

I called for security, and nobody came.

I kept calling, and no security showed up!

WTF?

What kind of casino has a customer calling for security, and nobody comes? In Vegas they would have been there in 30 seconds.

About 10 minutes passed, and I was getting close to cashing out of the machine, getting my shit together, and finding security myself.

Finally a guard strolled over, though it was a different one than before. I explained everything that was happening. The woman on the other side also complained, backing up everything I said. The calm sister tried to lie and said that everything was fine, and that they had simply been looking for their keys. I kept asking her, "Why are you lying? Are you saying that there was no cursing? No banging on the machine? It's all on camera. If you're going to lie, they can pull this up and see the truth, and you'll get banned here for good."

She wouldn't answer me, but just kept repeating that there hadn't been a problem, and that they were just looking for their keys.

The other woman was getting really pissed, threatening to take her action elsewhere if these two weren't ejected.

Finally the guard told the two sisters that they had to go home. They got agitated, argued about this for about 5 minutes, and the crazy one said that her husband is a Seven Stars and would get the guard in trouble for doing this. I piped up, "If that happens, feel free to have your boss contact me and I'll back everything up. And I'm sure that other woman over there will, too."

The guard got tired of the arguing, and finally told the two sisters, "You either need to walk out of here right now on your own, or we will escort you out. Which one will it be?"

So they left, and again shouted how they would be contacting their host and getting the guard in trouble.

As a postscript to the story, the other woman profusely thanked me for getting involved and pushing for those two to be ejected. She kept repeating how scared she was, since that one sister seemed so crazy and was slamming her purse against the machine.

Eventually she called her husband and had him come down and sit with her, and he also thanked me for helping put an end to the situation.

She told me that she was married into the Fertitta family (owners of Station Casinos), so her husband was obviously related to them in some way.
