Have to book our 7 stars trip and complete travel by March 31st so I think we will just be going to Vegas. Found out if we decide to drive, CET will reimburse us .56 cents a mile round trip from our home. This is only good if you drive to Vegas.

That's really interesting. I don't think that option is open to me because my "home" casino is in Vegas. I assume yours is Rincon, right?

But 600 round trip miles x 0.56 = $330, so that's not bad if you don't want to hassle with flying somewhere.

I just took mine to New Orleans (and then flew to Florida on my own) just so I wouldn't waste this benefit.

Yes, Rincon is my "home" casino but I don't think it has anything to do with your "home" casino. I think they calculate the mileage from your home and I believe you
can only do it from California to Vegas. It's approximately 470 miles round trip to Vegas for us so the compensation would be $263.20.

It takes us 3 1/2 hours to drive to Vegas. By the time we go to Ontario airport, park, check in and check luggage, go through security, wait for the flight,
time flying, get our luggage and limo ride to hotel, we could have driven there in less time. And that's providing there are no delays. Airport
parking is like $22.00 a day so we would have to pay for that too.

Did you use your Diamond Aspiration airfare to fly to Florida? We haven't used that either.

If I recall, you lose your Diamond Benefits when you carry over 7 Stars from one year to the next.

    Alan,

I received this email from Total Rewards on 5/1/2014 after I was told at Planet Hollywood I was no longer eligible for the $100.00 voucher for the first 15,000 tc.

It is my pleasure to assist you with your Diamond Aspirations inquiry. The Celebration Dinner is not part of the Diamond Aspirations benefits anymore so that is why you do not receive that. You will receive the Diamond Aspiration benefits for reaching the 40,000 and 80,000 Tier Credit milestones. The Annual Trip has already been loaded to your account and available for you to take advantage of until March 31st, 2015.

    Your Question 05/01/2014 03:17 PM
    Hi Gary,

Thank you for responding to my question. Your email stated that the diamond celebration dinner was not available to existing Seven Star members. Does the same apply
for the 40,000 diamond aspiration and 80,000 diamond aspiration for an existing Seven Star member? A friend of mine posed this question to his host and she stated the diamond aspiration
trips were still available to existing Seven Star members. I am a bit confused here. Does it state any of this in the Seven Stars benefit
    package that I received?

    Thank you,

    Robin

Hi Robin, unfortunately that is true. If you are currently a Seven Stars member you do not get the Diamond celebration dinner when you get 15,000 Tier. It is based on being a Diamond member. Since you are currently Seven Stars the only way you would receive this dinner is if you do not maintain your Seven Stars status and drop down to Diamond status. This year It is the card level that triggers the dinner to be loaded into your account and not the Tier score. Last year that was not the case and the dinner was based on and loaded into the account by getting 15,000 Tier, so if you were Seven Stars last year you would have gotten the Diamond celebration dinner in addition to your Seven Stars celebration dinner. Now that the benefits for card members have changed for 2014 you will not be able to receive the Diamond celebration dinner this year.

    Prior Question 04/28/2014 06:28 PM
I have a question regarding the Diamond Aspirations.

I was at Planet Hollywood over the weekend and I went to the Total Rewards in their casino. I asked for the $100.00 voucher for getting the first 15,000 tier credits and was told because I was Seven Stars last year (2013) I was not eligible for any of the Diamond Aspirations. Could you verify this?

    Thank you,

    Robin Nash

    Hi Alan:

In addition to Nash's information. I wish to note that next week I will use my 2014 Seven Stars (up to $1,200 in flight allowance) retreat to fly to New Orleans and my 2014 Diamond 80,000 aspirations flight (up to $750 fare) to go to San Diego the second week of March.

I went through my host who booked through Passport travel, I have the flight confirmations and did not pay anything out of pocket.

My situation will be interesting, because I didn't earn Seven Stars in 2014. I earned nothing, but coasted along as Seven Stars because I earned it in '13.

I will re-earn it before March 31, though.

So I wonder if the rules of "You only get the Diamond benefits on the way up if you're not already Seven Stars" applies to me, since technically I'm not a 2015 Seven Stars right now. I don't even get the Seven Stars e-mails anymore.

    Dan,

If you didn't earn Seven Stars in 2014 how did you just use a Seven Stars trip to go to New Orleans?
