Thread: All offers 5 nights

After seeing the problems Dan has been having with getting extra nights from CET I started to pay attention to the details in my various Vegas offers for shopping, free play, shows, etc. They all say up to FIVE nights.

And after not visiting Vegas for little over a year I have no problem getting 8 nights comped at Mlife including $250 in FP and $150 in resort credit. The only explanation I can think of is the fact that Dan showed no play for about a year. Casino's are in this business to make money, not to give stuff away for free without getting anything in return. Dan would probably do better in the comp department if he devided his play equally over the course of a year.

This is an interesting thought and I am not sure if it would work.

I've posted before about how I see some players with lower tier scores than I have and who make fewer trips to Vegas than I do, get better and more valuable offers than I get. I think they get more in comps and offers because in the fewer trips they make they play more per trip than I do.

I think there is something "in the computers" that identifies a player who plays more in fewer sessions as a "better player."

Just today I received an "Are You Playing Hard to Get? It's Working, We Miss You" message from CET (I have not been back to Vegas for a couple of years). Included, in addition to the usual $400 free play, was a complimentary stay at a resort of my choice (it does not limit it to a certain amount of days, which suggests to me that it can go up to four or five, $400 in cash, 10,000 reward credits, $250 Citywide Resort Credits, and tickets to either Mariah Carey or Reba, Brooks & Dunn. Looks pretty good, but that is an awfully long flight when we can get even better offers close to home. Because of some health issues I can't get out on the strip or do anything that takes a bit of walking or standing, so Vegas loses much of its appeal that young folks would enjoy.

Not playing at all for a year certainly isn't helping Dan. He has to "fight" often to get the perks that come with 7* status because of not playing. If he devided his play over 3/4 trips in a year he would still earn 7* and hosts probably wouldn't give him such a hard time. Not showing any play on multiple trips is never working in your favor.

Vegas_lover I agree. Those players I mentioned did not make trips without play. Making trips without play is what kills your average and welcome.
