I have started to respond to fast food surveys -- by calling phone numbers or going online.

I've done this four times with McDonalds and usually I give the same complaint:

Why is it that when I go through a drive-thru and order just a soda, or just a shake, that I am not given a napkin?

Napkins are not just for fries and ketchup, or Big Macs. Napkins are also for soft drinks and milkshakes.

I realize restaurants try to save money and fear that napkins are often wasted, so it's wise to give out an appropriate number of napkins. Ironically, when I am not given a napkin with my shake or soft drink and ask for one -- they don't give me ONE, they give me a stack of twenty.

Back to the topic of the surveys:

After answering them I get a code good for two quarter pounders with cheese or two Egg McMuffins. And when I get them, I make sure I get the appropriate number of napkins.
