Thread: Rincon WiFi complaint

  1. #1
    Interesting email comment about Rincon:

A guest checks in and pays $12.99 for Wifi for one night. The next morning they check out but decide to stay at the casino for some extra play time. But they discover that even though they paid for Wifi service for 24 hours the Wifi was stopped as soon as they checked out of the room.

I agree that's annoying, but very standard for how hotel wifi systems work. They rely on the hotel data to authorize the user to use the internet. Once the guest is checked out, it can no longer verify he is paid up.

I often wondered if I could go to Rincon and without checking-in pay for the WiFi??

By the way, throughout Caesars in Vegas I get excellent signal on my phone almost everywhere -- maybe not in the elevators -- but everywhere else. This includes Internet access using my phone.

At Rincon reception is spotty all over the place especially for sending text messages.
