Alan, is it true that the non-MGM properties are not offering the fight in parties or pay-per-view events? I'm really interested if that's the case across the city. Has this ever happened before?

I noticed Pechanga advertised that one could watch the fight there.

    Good question redietz.

I don't know what Pechanga advertised but I posted on the California Casinos forum that Pala is offering the fight at $10 per person.

I haven't heard of any casinos in Vegas offering the fight on PPV ?? I put in a call to my host last night about what might be offered at Caesars. She was off duty when I called, so I will let you know what I hear today.

I was just told that MGM would not allow any simulcast at other casinos in LV.

Harrahs Laughlin will be showing it in their outdoor amphitheater. Don't know if they are
charging for it. They offered me two free tickets via e-mail yesterday.

My fave info came from the Las Vegas Advisor, which reported that Larry Flynt's Hustler Club will show the fight throughout the club. General admission is $100. Admission with free food and second floor access (whatever that is) is $150. Viewing the fight in a private VIP room with a hostess is 3K.

Boy, the food in the VIP room must be spectacular.

While I've never been in Larry's place in Vegas, his poker casino in LA is known for its outstanding food and it is very elegant. Also the most secure with tight security. You will not find any scantily clad women.

Hustlercasino.com is the website for his poker casino in LA. Hustler.com is the other website you want.

I just noticed Hustler is showing the fight:

Join us for the biggest fight of the year, as Floyd Mayweather takes on Manny Pacquiao! Catch all the action LIVE at the Hustler Casino, in the Blackjack Lounge, or in our Crystal Room!
$25 admission per person gets you in the door. Enjoy food and drink specials all night long.
Doors open at 5pm. Undercard starts at 6pm.
Seating is first come, first serve so get there early!

I also posted on the California Casinos forum that Morongo near Palm Springs will be showing the fight in a ballroom -- not on the casino floor.
