For those of you interested in how the high rollers gamble, I was given this information about a particular high limit, private gaming parlor inside the Palace Court tables area at Caesars Palace.

The private parlor has three tables in it: roulette, blackjack and craps, and while there might be only one player in the parlor all of the tables are fully staffed allowing the single player to move freely from table to table. At craps he can move from side to side, so there are base dealers on both sides of the table.

Of course there is food service. And there is a SHOWER in the private bathroom. It is not unheard of for a high roller to spend 24+ hours in his private parlor playing, eating and taking showers.

What's really interesting is that Nevada has an open gaming law which means if you can find the room you can stand in the room and watch the action. And that might be the trick. The room is behind the very visible Palace Court but through some door or hallway.

By the way, the open gaming law means that NO casino can block you from walking into a high limit area and looking and watching. Those guards or reception people might be there to intimidate you -- and if they do -- just remind them that Nevada has the open gaming law.
