It's an obsession. You should know that.

I think we all know that.

Be that as it may, Rob knows more about Dancer than just about anyone on any forum. So if it's an obsession, what came first -- Rob's obsession or his knowledge? I suspect it was the knowledge of who Dancer is and what he's about.

Rob and I go way back to having been in Las Vegas during Dancer's beginnings and rise (as it were). Rob has more inside and accurate information on Dancer than anyone. Yes, Rob's anti-Dancer stance is obvious, but he hasn't been demonstrated to be wrong about much of anything regarding Dancer in 20 years.

Excuse me, redietz, but how do you know that what Rob says about Dancer's personal life is true?

And why must he talk about it here where Dancer's name rarely comes up except when Rob brings it up?

Frankly, he couldn't get away with it on any other forum and it really is not productive. All of these "revelations" about Dancer will not help my video poker game, nor will they make my trips to Vegas more enjoyable, nor will they help me get more for my money when I am in Vegas. In other words -- it's an opportunity for personal bashing.

But I have Rob all figured out. And somewhere I know he will make a worthwhile contribution at some point.

Two things I've notice here: one is that one forum member wants to be the undisputed know it all about video poker, and another forum member wants to be the undisputed know it all about sports betting.

Alan, everything I've written about Dancer here is a direct derivative of that which he writes about himself in his strange column. There's times I expand on his revelations, but it is always based on discovery from my years of investigating his working both sides of the casino fence as well as having had very revealing discussions with his ex-wife's family in Laughlin. And since he, and I, are known entities in the vp community, it is common on various forums for things to be said that both agree with and criticize how we do or say things. The fact that I say much more about him than he does me is simply because his actions and words hurt the video poker playing public as well as the general decency-driven public a heluva lot more than what I do--which is train for free BTW because I know what I'm talking about, and I'm not always out there trying to sell my brand for a living like he is. I also do not lead a sleazy, abusive-to-women life. I would think that as a gigilo, that alone would ease your mind over this.

Well, Rob -- Dancer's column is published on the Las Vegas Advisor. Wouldn't it be better if you wrote about Dancer's columns there instead of here?

Oh, I forgot. They won't let you write there.

Alan, your forum would improve if he wasn't allowed to write here, either.

I actually enjoy reading Rob's posts whether I agree with them or not.

You enjoy brow-beating, name-calling, personal attacks & insults?

    To each his own...I guess.

I use Rob's betting strategy, and it's worked for me...thanks Rob for sharing that.

But the constant vitriol & hate ?...it reads like somebody's in pain for sure, and I don't enjoy that.

You're right coach, I experience pain when Dancer treats a wife like a goat, dismisses the military as something to toy around with for one's own entertainment, and lies constantly in order to rope unsuspecting people into buying his products. Inexperienced wannabees like RS__ might enjoy reading about Dancer's ignorance. Noble people do not.

    I'm sorry for your pain.

It's just hard to believe that the...umm..."aggressive" Rob Singer who posts here is the same soft-spoken and rather pleasant guy on those special play videos with Alan.

Which is the real Rob Singer?

Alan...are you sure they are the same person?

Just for the record, I don't own anything from Dancer. My AP VP play is nothing like any of his or anyone's here.

I never paid for anything by Dancer. I've read his articles and attended a free lecture. I did buy John Growchowski's book on video poker which was before I even knew Dancer was around.

The Diamond in a Day runs are considered AP play?

I don't have a TR card. My name is toast with them.

I should have been more specific. When you say others' play do you mean their DIAD runs since the majority of members here are with TR?

I am curious: why would you consider Diamond in a Day to be an "advantage play"?

Most of my VP play is picking off multipliers. Mainly though, I'm a table games player.

My apologies, I made it seem that I was putting words into jbjb's mouth. Recently I heard stories that already happened in the past right before the bankruptcy filings where many people took advantage of Caesar's over comping their players more than any other casino chain would. Now that is no more, based on Dan's posts, it is about getting into 7* to be treated like a king at Caesar's properties with minimal gameplay as possible.

Understandable that your focus is not on VP to offer a deeper opinion on the matter as you only take advantage of Ultimate X machines.

I don't think anyone ever got over comped. I think some people requested too much and the system caught up with them. The bankruptcy really didn't impact comps -- the bankruptcy cut into offers. You still get comped based on your play. But now even with a lot of play your offers are lower than what they were pre bankruptcy.
