I've seen IGT's $100 Wheel of Fortune Slot machine in 2 casinos. The first was at Wynn. One coin per spin but I didnt get close enough to see what the "Spins" were valued at. There is no progressive and the max payout for 3 Wheel of Fortune symbols was $100,000.
About a month ago I saw a new $100 WOF slot at Caesars in the Palace Court high limit slot room. Also one coin per play. Max jackpot was $200,000. Spins ranged from $3,000 to $60,000.
I tried to research this on the Internet and discovered there were different games with different pays and some multipliers.
What I wanted to find out was the "hit frequency" and there were no stats. On some discussion forums players talked about how they did 100 plays for $10,000 and would get one SPIN in 20 to 50 plays. There are some YouTube videos showing a SPIN that resulted in a $4,000 payoff.
You can also get pays on the reels with bars, and 7s and cherries, etc.
When I saw the machine at Caesars, the Wheel was stopped on a pay of $40,000.
So my question: any info on the hit frequency on this??
