Unbalanced dice: Put Up or Shut Up

I posted this in a thread on the Wizard of Vegas forum. Another thread about claims of unbalanced dice in casinos. It is worth repeating here:

Would someone please present to me an unbalanced die from a casino so that I can videotape it being tested. I promise to put the video on my TV show.

Testing will include all of the basic tests include spinning and I'll even videotape as many "random rolls" that you say will definitely prove that the dice are not properly balanced.

I will not alter any test results, but will edit the video for time meaning I will compress the video and remove "non action" video that doesn't impact the results of the test.

My TV show runs a half-hour. If you have the proof and it takes longer than one half hour to prove the dice are not balanced and I agree -- I will run the complete video over two shows, or three shows, or four shows.

But you must present the unbalanced dice from a casino first. And obviously they must be original, unaltered casino dice.

Eyewitness accounts, recordings made at casino tables, logs of rolls are not what I am looking for. I want the actual off balance dice.

If a casino were using unbalanced dice, why in the world would they allow you to walk out with them? That seems impossible to me.

Dice like that would only be used at high stakes tables, when someone appears to be dice influencing, and having sustained runs over the course of long sessions. How do you propose to acquire the dice in question? Ask nicely?

You know by now that the WoV forum has few actual players and is loaded with theorists who enjoy stirring the pot with this type of nonsense. Imagine if YOU were a stay-at-home do-nothing that craved attention from the rest of the liberal, homo, atheist, armchair world. That's what you're dealing with.

If dice were unbalanced, presumably to land on seven, then why not bet the "don't" and have 7's hopping to counteract it? If they are so certain that the dice are loaded, that's what I would do.

Absolutely. If dice were influenced or loaded it wouldn't take long for any player to notice and to be accordingly. But there are those on the WOV forum who still insist there are unbalanced dice in use -- so I say to them put up or shut up.

How they get the dice doesn't matter. But I would suggest to them that as soon as they've determined the dice are biased that they should call the NGC and have them come to the table. They will.
