Thread: Hey Alan and Redeitz.

Let's see how you feel about this. I'd like to start a thread about UP TO DATE TRIP REPORTS.

Since this a forum about gambling I'll start.
This past weekend I went to Laughlin and Vegas. Lost $1400 in Vegas and $2600 in Laughlin (2K of that due to Todd).

How bout any of you guys? how have you done recently? Alan you went to Bellagio this past weekend? how'd ya do? care to share? or do you only Mayweather it? (you're probably out of the loop on that one but maybe one day you'll understand?)

Please I'd love to hear any comments about all the big time gamblers on this forum. Now please exclude the Nash's, Chimp and Fab. Those people really do gamble and have all the respect in the world. but for all the others you can all just live vicariously through your hero Alan and continue to suck his dick and marvel at his wizadry on the forums.

Alan, for the 5th time? Where is Gwen? Do tell?

  2. #2
If this is a gambling forum, why does Gwen's whereabouts have any relevance??

Let's see. Went 2-2 yesterday in college football. Very ugly 2-2. Rooting Wyoming +24 home is a stressful endeavor. Going to lose my only NFL wager today, as the Raiders, who are about to not cover despite not surrendering an offensive touchdown, had Carr make a hideous decision with six minutes left.

Had the Texas Rangers at 50-1 to win their division, however, so I can't complain about the hands of fate or recent decision-making in general.

Boygenius, if you want to have a conversation, sign on with your real name (it's allowed), and we'll have a conversation. I'm not hip to the moderne notion of insults and idiocy from the anonymous.

Note: Damn Raiders just kicked a field goal, so I'm going to lose by a point. Brutal. There were a couple of +6s in Las Vegas at the bitter end, but none off shore. Ouch.

P.S. To paraphrase Captain Kirk's comment to Picard in the film, I knew what "Mayweathering it" was when you were still in diapers. Yes, Mayweather has been around that long.

My long time friend Rob Singer and I exchanged cell phone text messages this morning about my personal, non casino, non professional life. Perhaps Rob can post an appropriate response?

Regarding my losing sessions? I've always said I am a recreational player. I couldn't quit my day job if I wanted to. Even though I have won money on my LAST FOUR trips it's not enough to outweigh my day job. And I've never had a profitable full year. (Too early to include 2015.)

Okay I'll bite. How did Todd cause you to lose $2000?

Silly answer to a simple question. I came to laughlin this weekend because my girlfriend is a huge Carrie Underwood fan. Todd is a huge dodger fan. I wanted action on the mets/dodger game but had no opinion on the game. Knowing Todd is a genuine jinx I went with the mets for 2K. 100% believing I would win cause Todd Is such a terrible human being. Well, I was wrong and the Dodgers won, hence causing me to lose 2K. At least the concert was good.

Point 1 is a complete lie showing you know nothing about sports betting. Rangers were 4-1 to win the division. If you got 50-1 as you said then you're simply flat out lying.

Point 2- since it's only been around for about 4 years (and I'm older than 4) please tell me what Mayweathering is? Caught lying again Red you old fart.

I actually can understand that. I stopped going to the track with a friend of mine who was probably the worst handicapper ever. Whatever horse he picked you could eliminate. But once in a while he would like my horse and I had no choice but to fade him and thus fade myself. So I just stopped going with him so he wouldn't be in my head.

Red doesn't need my help to defend himself but I can confirm that he did bet the Rangers early in the year at 50-1-----not presently at 4-1. I have the PM from him to prove it, and was rooting for him down the stretch. Always like to see a good hit by other gamblers.

Reg- once again there is 100% no way on earth that you and Lying Red are correct. I will say it again and again and again. You both are either in collusion, too old to know the truth or simply lying. I bet sports on a daily basis and I am not wrong. I can't believe I'm even arguing this point. 50-1 to win the division is BULLSHIT. PLAIN AND SIMPLE.

  11. #11
Red and Reg- I just realized that my comprehension of the wager may be off. There is a possibility of Red having 50-1 on the bet. If the wager was placed mid -late season then you are 100% correct. I read it as a bet made on opening day. If that is the case then I'm wrong.

  12. #12
Damn--it was more fun to think I was in collusion with someone I have never met or spoken with and have no reason to collude with other than to EF with an anonymous forum poster.

I was going to be nice before I read all of this, and invite BoyGenius to the little get together we have in Las Vegas the week after rodeo each year. A couple of my clients, who also had the Rangers at 50-1, would verify the tale and buy you a beer or two. But alas, you went off the deep end and now should buy a beer for them. I especially like the part about being too old to know the truth, and I am sooooo impressed that you bet sports on a daily basis. That makes you a bona fide expert.

But you can still meet us for beer. I have to warn you, though, I worry about a moniker like BoyGenius. It suggests you may have an IQ in the neighborhood of the dudes I'll be meeting, and they would be horrified if your moniker isn't an ironic self-referential bit of humor.

BG, it briefly crossed my mind to adopt one of Rob's strategies and try to make a bet regarding whether we had 50-1. You know, have Alan hold the money and all that. But that would have been mean-spirited.

Oh yes, for those history buffs, "Mayweathering" refers to advertising those large wagers one wins at the exclusion of those one loses. Many times a sports book will collaborate (verify the winners) with a bettor who puts a bundle on the line because the positive ink serves the house from a public relations perspective. The large bettor then advertises his disproportional number of large wins and becomes a bit of a gambling legend. BG, you did know Mayweather had a relationship with the Moneytalks "reality show," although it wasn't explicitly stated?

Anyway, it's not like Mayweather just started betting big in the last couple of years. I think "Floyding" would be a better slang.

And finally, as Arnold said in the last Terminator flick, "I'm old, not obsolete."

Red- you got me good! You're absolutely spot on with your description. You were never the real target of my aggression. Just some casual shrapnel. I think the phrase should be renamed "Mendelsoning".
Nice hit on the Rangers btw.

And for Floyd to even be associated with that scumbag "steve stevens" is a fucking joke. That guy has been documented to lose 15 of 17 last year. Can you imagine a contest between stevens and Brandon Lang?

Stevens has been bragging about a second season of money talks for the past year. I'll bet dollars to donuts it never happens.

BG I am so glad you can use my website to attack me.

Hey, I'm having my pristine veracity challenged. Plus all this time, Alan, I've been kissing your ass and didn't even know it.

Regarding a second season of "Money Talks." -- I had a friend record the first season shows in case someday I could stomach watching them in full. I watched one and a half episodes, and I got all bent out of shape. They are such obvious garbage, and the general public doesn't understand that, and it just infuriates me. How the hell did they get on the air? Well, I think I know the answer to that -- and Mayweather was part of the equation.

I am curious why you think I am a "terrible human being".

When I first private messaged you awhile back and asked you what your problem was with me, you answered that it was because I shook Phil Hellmuth's hand on ESPN instead of calling him out for promoting UB after the cheating scandal.

I then explained to you that I DID call him out, but that ESPN edited that from the broadcast. The fact that I did this was actually reported by one of the poker news sites. I also stated that I shook his hand at the end because I knew they would edit out the UB argument. Since Phil was the one who busted me from the tournament, refusing to shake his hand would have appeared like I was a sore loser, and I didn't want that incorrect perception.

You then claimed that it bothered you how I "cheated" to get my Seven Stars status. I explained that situation to you, as well, and you seemed to understand it.

However, despite those detailed explanations, you still continue to bash me. I think you just like trolling.

So you two didn't actually go to Laughlin together? Huh, I thought there was some humor there or something. Well, then, that is strange. I don't understand the negativity or hostility of BG's posts. You two don't know each other?

I don't get this. Must be my age.

    Nobody gets it.

The Laughlin thing I refer to was from something Alan found out and posted here one time, after BG had been trolling him.

For some strange reason, this guy likes to troll me and Alan constantly.

He is capable of making good/useful posts, but most of the time just degrades to mindless trolling.

He also listens to every episode of my (very long) radio show, which is strange for someone who thinks I'm a terrible human being.
