Thread: Do you believe in charts and charting?

  1. #1
I believe in charts and charting and I think you can learn a lot from charts. Critics say charts only show what happened before -- in the past. But I think that past is prologue and the past can tell you what can happen in the future.

Charts can reveal patterns that can warn you of the future.

The problem with charting is that five analysts can look at the same chart and come up with ten explanations for what they see.

I also beleive in charts and we can get a lot of inofrmation about the prices who we have to buy or sell. I think all things are clear from the charts which we want know and it help a lot to buy or sell the shares.

garry do you follow any particular method for interpreting the charts you use? I use Stan Weinstein's 4 stage interpretation of base building, run up, topping out, and correction. there are also those who look for patterns such as wedges, flying saucers, flags, pennant formations, etc.

    What do you use?
