Thread: New Year's Eve at Bellagio

Bellagio is having what was described to me as an elegant dinner party for invited guests for New Year's Eve with a band but no big name entertainment.

The last NYE I spent in LV in 2000 was at Bellagio. It is a cut above anywhere else I've been for that event. Of course, if you're a scavenger "vulture" or a stickman at CET, you might be impressed by the Sam's Town local's minority get-together.

    Hi Alan:

You are correct about Bellagio's NYE event. I was told it was nice dinner with a "house band" playing.

That is why I started looking at other MLIFE casinos with events in town and found Mandalay Bay having a Maroon 5 concert that night. I talked to my Bellagio host and he set us up for that event instead of the dinner party. Since Las Vegas Avenue will be closed for NYE, I expect to travel from Bellagio by either using the monorail to MGM then crossing to Excalibur and taking the tram to Mandalay Bay or taking the Bellagio tram to Monte Carlo then walking over to Excalibur and catching the tram to Mandalay Bay. With any luck I will be back in the Bellagio room to watch fireworks at midnight.

FAB I think Bellagio has a back entrance by the employee's parking in which case taxis and even limos can use that road that parallels the Strip to get you back and forth. My guess is it will be very crowded but it is an option.
