May I suggest a teeth-whitening toothpaste, a real vehicle so you don't have to hitchhiker, and a visit to Jenny Craig? Self-worth could be right around the corner. Really...It COULD be!
A psychological syndrome comprising an extreme mix of narcissism, anti social personality disorder, aggression and sadism. Often grandiose and willing to raise hostility levels, the malignant narcissist undermines the organizations in which they are involved and dehumanizes the people with whom they associate. The malignant narcissist has a need for power and a sense of importance. He is pathologically grandiose, lacking in conscience and behavioral regulation with characteristic demonstrations of joyful cruelty.

I don't hate Rob Singer. I pity him. The evidence is overwhelming of his malignance. The joyful cruelty he exhibited over arci being a widower is prime evidence. I pity Rob Singer. There is no known cure for his affliction.

I got a god laugh out of Singer claiming fpdw2015 is Mickey. Whenever Mickey posts it is beyond obvious. He would never be this nice to Singer. The real identity is beyond obvious and Singer has interacted with this individual many times in the past. LOL.

Engage yourself in what's really going on my friend. I routinely send subtle messages out to mickey in much the same manner as I rattle you when I "get a really good laugh" when I bring up "Deb". In fact, I just had a great idea for you. Why don't you invite poor Mickey to Mn. to be your new roommate?! A match made in, well, I won't use the word since neither one of you will ever see it. But you COULD train him on how to use Crest, and he COULD train you on how to be the world's most laughed at loner.

Another Pavlov moment. You can tell when Singer feels the sting because he mentions my wife every time. He is oh so predictable.

I'd give you a clue to help you, but it is two wild for you to ever figure out.

Waa..waa..waa...! OMG arci--that "sting" is unbearable!! But you're right about one thing: I do feel something. Wait!--it's an enormous TINGLE when I think of who's eating dirt and who is not

It's one day AFTER Thanksgiving, and I find myself giving even more thanks for arci's existence here. More fun than a barrel of Pavlovs!

    Bingo. LOL.

To my friend Rob: please stop.
To Arc who I've never met but one day hope to also call my friend: maybe if you took the high road and stopped first Rob would realize no one cares about his BS.

Alan, you don't understand. It is a sickness. An incurable disease. He cannot stop, so one just has to live with it.

It's been years of this now, on this and other forums. I tried to put myself in Rob's shoes. I think I have a foolproof methodology that someone else thinks is hokum. How would I publicly cope?

Well, the fact is that people in academia have conflicting, career-affecting and completely different opinions all of the time. They go at it tooth and nail in publications and on panels and while presenting papers that have wholly opposite perspectives and conclusions. Students "betray" mentors all of the time by undermining their lifelong theories or ideas, and thereby their reputations, and also their incomes.

That verbiage is nothing like what Rob does. He's gotten worse, not softer, since arci's wife passed.

If someone said to me, "What you say you've done is all bullshit. You don't know what you're doing. You're a pox on humanity," what would my response be? I'd say, "That's what polygraphs are for, my friend. And that's what witnesses are for. And that's what publishing one's predictions ahead of time are for."

Alan, a polygraph runs less than 1K. Hell, I'll chip in to help clear up whether Rob has done what he's done. Then Rob can introduce a couple of the folks he's trained to verify his and their success. And then Rob can demonstrate to you his effectiveness over a month's time to you by having multiple per-day "sessions" at a casino near you while he's in California sometime. He's retired. What better legacy than showing his abilities for a month while doing two or three sessions a day?

It would spare us all some misery.

You nailed it Alan. As a geek who was frustrated no end by what I had to say about video poker years ago, he's never been able to help himself when I've just become a stronger force thru the years. Thus, he was forced to resort to telling a bevy of lies about me on any forum I post on. Somehow it must come close to scratching the unreachable itch.

But alas....fate has taken over and righteousness again prevails, as has been the "pattern" of justice throughout time. He has been made to suffer in front of me, and because he is the type of fool who always has to have the last word, I find pleasure in laughing at the pain he has created for himself thru his own fault.

And this is only touching the surface. If you were to look at him a bit deeper as I have, you would see a truly despicable man beyond the pathological liar he is.

We're headed out to walk the doggie now. And life couldn't be better!

Red, first a response to what you wrote about random events, patterns and predictions. This is how it's done: you plot your results, and then there's a higher degree of accuracy than not, of what you can expect to see in the future. And because you're working with "random" then you shift your futures from specific to general.

For instance, when I began playing SPS, after a few dozen trips I recognized an 80%-90% session win rate. I predicted something similar for the future, and it hovered around 85%-88% throughout my career. Could I tell HOW I would win? No. But I could safely predict THAT I would likely win. Random events do involve patterns. It's up to the person how they utilize the data.

Next up, the polygraph idea. I have training on how to manipulate those, although it was a little over 40 years ago. Nonetheless, are you sure this would be a good way to determine anything for certain?

The sessions. I know you might not understand this, but that ship sailed when the wizard went into retraction and Frank disappeared. Besides, in addition to me not wanting to be away from home for more than two days, who's gonna have the time to be there for a dozen sessions or more, and who wouldn't be bored to tears sitting there watching somebody else play? You'd have cop out artists like arci claim it's not a good size sample anyway, esp. as I win.

Now tell me, is a lie detector test going to prove anything here? LOL I'm laughing so hard I can pee in my pants.

My very good friend Rob who I would have no trouble with having dinner or spending hours with at a barbecue or sitting around playing monopoly writes crazy stuff. Sometimes he writes miserable things about me.

Arc is no angel either. And what's really hilarious is that both of these guys are retirees and not 12 year old kids.

redietz I'm not sure what you want the polygraph to prove? I don't doubt that Rob won on average a hundred thousand a year. After all during his "professional days" he was playing high limit video poker and even a shlubb like me can get lucky and hit a royal playing $25/coin VP.

Can his "special plays" also work? Sure they can if you get lucky.

What about his martingale-like progression, can that work? Again, yes it can if you have a $53,000 bankroll to tote around.

So I am not sure a polygraph would prove anything. If you want to use a polygraph to settle the dispute about what property Rob owned, I don't think that's appropriate or even meaningful. I know rich people who live like paupers and con-artists who live in mansions. Unfortunately a life-long friend of mine was recently sent to prison for bilking money out of people so he could live in a mansion.

How about we do something quick & easy. Let's hook REDIETZ up to a polygraph and ask him if he's ever told us who he really is or not! For question #2 we'll ask if he ever been to Lynchburg.

You've gotta be kidding, Rob. My name is R.E. Dietz. As in Robert Earl. C'mon, man, I've told you that before.

Yeah, a polygraph could work with Rob. I was thinking about the appropriate questions on the ride back from Starbucks this morning. How about, "Are you ahead lifetime playing video poker?" "Are you ahead lifetime gambling?" "Are you and your wife ahead lifetime playing video poker?" "Are you and your wife ahead lifetime gambling?"

Actually, those four questions, repeated about 50 times each (and with a check for nails in Rob's shoes and all that), would be pretty telling. And yes, I know polygraphs have major, major flaws, but most of those flaws generate false positives, not false negatives. So errors would much more likely work against Rob, not in his favor. If he can't pass, well, interviewing trainees would fill in the blanks in case there are false positives with the polygraph.

P.S. I don't think I've been to Lynchburg, Virginia, but I've driven through Virginia many times, so I guess it's possible.

The question was not "who are you" but was "have you ever told us your real name?" Yes or No questions, just like with a lie detector.

Some of those questions are irrelevant red. My wife has never played a hand of vp in her life, and she has never gambled (other than when she took a chance marrying me of course--so she's a lifetime winner).

Tennessee, not Virginia. Why bring up another state?

A polygraph machine won't be fooled by silly card-counter tactics. We were trained to render inconclusive results by having strong control over your mind. I don't know if I could still do it, but in my prime I could've made you see it plausible as my being married to your grandmother.

That's not fair and it's not even accurate. Rob actually invited me and my girlfriend to his home for Thanksgiving. We would have gone there but couldn't because of our schedules here. Rob and I are meeting up this winter and yes -- HE'S PAYING. LOL

I'm confused as to what you mean by real name.

I mentioned your wife because we both know that Dancer didn't actually win the big chunk -- his wife did -- so I automatically would question any couple regarding who won or lost what because they are a "team."

Lynchburg, Virginia is a sizable city. Lynchburg, Tennessee, has 5000 people if you count the cats and dogs, so I mentioned the one people would know, as nobody has ever mentioned Lynchburg, TN, in conversation to me before, other than locally as being near the town that was the origination point for the KKK. People don't often ask about the KKK.
